Hey from the Holy City! I am also from Charleston! I love my pole- just wish I had more time to spend on it. I got into pole via Goddess Dance studio. I think they are WONDERFUL! There are 4 studios now, so location is not a big deal. Hanahan is the oldest studio, also the smallest, but has a top notch group of women who teach and take lessons there. Summerville is the 2nd studio, larger, with a kids’ play area. Mt. P has "shorter" 9ft poles, but still a great place. I don’t know about the Walterboro studio-It just opened. I love going there because it not only makes me work out, but I also learn the proper(aka- SAFE) way of doing tricks. I really love all the women there- very supportive! It feels so good to have other women cheering you on! They have "Pole Parties" every few months at the studios, so you can invite your friends to come see what pole is really about- working out and having fun! I am happy to answer any other questions for ya! Welcome to Pole!
