I'm working on getting into the butterfly/extended butterfly from the apprentice…. so hard but I've nearly done it so will be jumping to joy when I can do it properly https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
I personally find the inverted D easier then the extended butterfly so if you can do the EB hopefully you wont find the inverted D too hard 🙂 good luck

Can you do split grip aysha? I really want to get my split grip, I find elbow and forearm grips really hard https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif
Hopefully I'l be able to get the elbow grip now I know to be a bit off centre https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

Tarah, I had a few problems in that I was getting my arm stuck too. I found that when inverting, try to make sure you pull up as much as possible so you can get your leg wrapped as high as you can. That way there is room for your leg to slide down a little nearer your hand without restricting your movement

Thanks ladies https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

thanks girls!
I do like the look of the advanced cupid but if theres a risk of putting too much strain on my knees I don't think I'll do it as my knees are weak as it is 🙁
I've also tried not holding on but found I didn't have enough grip with my leg which was why I though maybe its too low.
I will try and though and persevere! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

EDIT:
that was also meant to say – is the leg thats round the pole pointing down too much? Or is that the right position?
(ahh Veena where's the edit button gone? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif)
Thanks peeps!

I've seen it called dangerous brian in quite a few different places. Perhaps either everyone has copied the same source that misspelt it… or it's just a silly name https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

I wish I could do the splits 🙁 I'm working on it though so hopefully soon i'll be able to do down splits from cupid!

Evarut – that sounds like a challenge, I havent done the move Marley yet but I'll definitely give the rest of it a go!
