I would loove to do this too! I love dancing and wish there was somewhere I could pole in clubs without having to be overtly sexual and take my clothes off https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif I’d like to do proper pole not just gyrating!
I’ve also seen pics of people poling in Ibiza and that was about a year or 2 ago.
The only other thing I’ve heard that is similar to this is where a pole school have a thing going with a local club and the pole school provide the club with dancers (no stripping) but I saw a video of it and they didnt seem to be doing any tricks as the podium was too near the crowd…. soo it’s close but not close enough! May be an idea worth mentioning it to your pole teacher though (if you have one)?
P.s. If anyone knows of somewhere you can do this in the UK let me know! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_bounce.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

MemberNovember 22, 2010 at 3:56 pm in reply to: Spinning pole decision – advice wanted.I don’t have any experience with the lil mynx pole but I’m also surprised to hear about rough edges on an xpole and was also going to ask if it’s definitely a real? My friends friend bought what was advertised as an xpole but it was a fake. The rim around the top was a different colour and it cracked and broke away making it unstable and unsafe to use. I have a real xpole and there are no rough edges or anything like that on it. Xpole customer services are very, very helpful so maybe ring them up and tell them the problem with rough edges and check with them that the supplier does stock the official xpoles so you can confirm whether or not your friends one was real?
I would recommend xpole (real ones!) to anyone as I’ve never had any problems with them and as I said their customer service has been nothing but brilliant. It only takes a matter of seconds to changes the Xpole from static to spinny… Just make sure you keep the alan key in a pole especially for pole stuff https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
It takes a couple of minutes to take down but its worth it as you get such a wonderful, secure pole… a few more minutes is no biggie https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

Thanks Veena https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
Angel I’ll drop you an email tomorrow about the photo so we can discuss it…. early start tomorrow so got to get to bed now! But I never "sell" images as such (as in I don’t sell copyright of the image), but I’m certainly happy to license an image to you (this is much, much cheaper). Shall I contact you on the email address on your website? Or is there another address that would be better?

I dont think it’s all of them as the reverse crescent in the pic above (not sure of the proper name) isn’t on the iphone app. It gives you a fair few though.
As far as seeing moves I’d recommend the pole dance community syllabus as it has videos as well as pics and also splits the moves into levels of difficulty

These look like the same pictures that are on the pocket pole studio iphone app https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif

I havent been able to find anywhere to buy them either https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif
I just get Pleaser shoes from shops on ebay. The only place I’ve seen a couple of styles been sold in shops is London but they seemed to be made for standing around in and not for actually doing pole tricks in! They only have a handful of styles. Bizarrely all the shops seem to sell the same few styles but if you’re looking for a pair that are fairly common then London might be the place to go?

Gorgeous photo!
I would just consider it a butterfly too – you don’t have to bend the extended leg. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
Thanks
Yes, I wasn’t too sure as I haven’t seen it in too many routines as people tend to go straight to extended butterfly. I looove this version though https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

A dead lift is when you invert without "jumping" into it so to speak. So you literally use all your strength to lift yourself so that means no kicking and no rocking! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
I dont know if there are any lessons on it as I don’t have Veena’s lessons yet https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif I couldnt find any videos of a good deadlift invert form the floor but if you look at videos by people like Jenyne Butterfly, take note of how they invert… No kicks, just legs up https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif Thats what you’re aiming for with a deadlift
It is quite hard a first but as always practice makes perfect and it looks a lot better, makes you look very strong and feels great the first time you do it https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/bom.gif
