Brilliant!!!!!! Same place, Sunday 30th. It's in my diary! LOVED that studio 😀
I am always keen for eating 🙂 guess we don't need to organise that until closer though but it's definitely a great idea! Yippee!

Argh ok just checked my calendar properly… can ONLY do the 15/16, or 29/30th!! I need to keep better track of things….
How about Sunday 30th then?? Lizzie, Shona and I so far are all good for that day…..

Sundays are fine, let's make it 1pm again? That seemed to suit everyone.
At the moment, the only weekend I can't make it is 22/23rd. Any other weekend is fine!

AMAZING time! I did a 20 mile walk yesterday too though, involving two mountains, and now my entire body hurts :S
Can't wait until the next one! i'll post some badly-edited videos tonight girls. xx was so nice to see you again and meet the new faces!

No I don't have your number anymore Debss – broke my old phone! But still have the same number so if you text me that would be great. The train looks really easy so it should be fine but I will let you know if I need picking up!
I wanted to do alot of elbow ayesha stuff but I gave blood yesterday and my elbow is all bruised and pinpricked now! So I think I will concentrate on handstand stuff whilst I have people to spot me 🙂

Only two days to go!!!!!!!!!
I am getting the train to Walkden, should arrive there at 1230. And I have printed out some google maps (have the worlds crappest phone) so should be there right on time!!
Can't wait to see you all!

I think I would be keen to pole until, say, 5pm ish, and then go grab a pint 🙂 I need to head back to Leeds that evening but I am just going to get an all-day return ticket. In my head I can pole for days but I think in reality 5pm would be my limit!

Starting at 1pm, so we should definitely still be there Zooey! I plan on poling until I can't move a muscle except maybe to lift a pint afterwards 🙂

When I started I felt horribly sick whenever I did more than two spins in a row, even on a static pole. Ginger has never worked for me during motion sickness on long journeys as a kid though (but I know it does for a lot of people) but high salty foods on a fairly empty stomach does! For me what worked was I didn't eat immediately before class, then took a packet of lightly salted crisps or pringles and would just eat one or two when I felt the nausea coming on. Really helped, it also helps me when I fly. Kinda depressing I had to eat crisps to exercise but now I'm used to it and unless it's a crazy spinny day I don't get sick anymore. Good luck!

I LOVE my brass xpert!!! I really think these things are definitely a personal choice, I would say try to have a go on a mates pole or something before you make your mind up. I would never go back from my brass now, I'm totally converted, but I know alot of people don't like them.

Keep going!!! It was just chance that you started with a class that was full of slim young chickadees, as you can see there are alot of pole bodies out there with alot of variety. I am slim and pretty muscly now and alot of girls compliment on my figure in classes, but they don't realise that I am super jealous of the fact they can booty pop and actually have curves to fill out girly clothes!
Plus shape and weight have NO correlation with your pole ability. I once saw a girl who was literally like a stick with what seemed to be no muscle tone, right next to a chunky/curvy girl with also no definition that I could see… and they both dead lifted into an ayesha. Which I can't do to save my life. Proved to me once and for all that size means nothing!!!!!!!

Never had them from pole but it sounds like it's definitely possible when you consider what we do with our legs…. I used to get crazy ingrowns from waxing, but not anymore!!! (I sound like a commercial, don't worry!) I used to use tea tree oil too, it's great, but now I use Tendskin (you can only buy it online in the UK through beautyexpert.com but I think it's available most places in the States). It is basically rubbing alcohol (isopropanol) so it stings a little and smells awful, but that goes away in about ten minutes. I use it every second day and literally have had about three ingrowns in the year since I started which is NOTHING compared to what I used to get!

Oh no Miraine… could you fly maybe? I used to fly between Glasgow and Belfast as it was cheaper than the ferry lol. Really hope you can make it somehow!
