So I got my stainless steel xpert and finally got a chance to pole on it last night. Definitely harder to pole on with dry skin. I have to be warm with some type of moisture on my skin. My hands get a good grip on it since they sweat, but my legs/arms/etc. don't stick very well if I haven't warmed up or put on lotion a few hours before. Well atleast they make various grip aids to help this..or it just takes some practice and it'll make ya stronger 😉

I just sold my chrome xpole due to nickle allergies and ordered a 45mm stainless today..yay! I've also been using 50mm Platinum Stage but I'm not sure if it'll be exactly the same. I will let you guys know how it is 🙂

I have a nickel allergy that is going crazy right now because of my chrome pole, but I also have eczema so they both work together to make me miserable. I haven't have an issue with stainless steel. I had only been poling on my chrome pole occasionally and I'd break out a little bit, but the last 2 wks I poled on it almost every night and my skin is definitely messed up..time for a new pole lol..

Hmm I am allergic to nickel too. I didn’t consider this when getting a pole (I haven’t yet), so thanks for reminding me!! The poles I have been working on are Platinum Stage poles which are stainless steel. I know I don’t break out to that. Hope you can resolve the problem :/

Thanks chem! I was in need of a pole over this winter break and I did know about those two. I went to Tabu Dance & Vertical Fitnes (that is where my video was taken), and it was nice! =)
