I work for a health food and supplement store, and I have to throw my 2 cents in and say I think there are better things you can try for weight loss. I haven't seen or read any studies that really support using CLA for noticeable weight loss. It is supposed to help convert fat into lean muscle.
I would recommend taking probiotics, anti-oxidants, a well rounded twice daily multivitmain and some ginseng/tea herbal blends. These are things all people need, and when your body is functioning better, it will naturally work better at losing weight more efficiently.

I would look up videos of doubles pole routines on YT.
Gravity plays favorites is an awesome pole duo team from St Louis.
I also have seen videos of Bobbi's girls in Australia doing triples routines for X Factor Australia.
I also think Karol Helms has some doubles with Star on her YT that are pretty easy.

Hey there! I currently only go to my studio for regular classes, but I have taken some privates, and I would love to make time to drop into other studios too! I think it's cool that each place and person teaches differently, I love using SV or YT for videos too. I would LOVE to have a pole guru! My studio only has been open for a year, and I'm pretty much the most advanced person there, so I would love some more advanced help!

Happy update! I was lucky enough to have Keiloces aka Hope from SLC contact me, and we got to meet up for an awesome 2 hour pole and silks jam! She was so kind, gracious, friendly, and taught me quite a bit! I cannot thank her enough for introducing me to a new media of silks, I think I'm in luv! Anyways, will post pics and a lil video from out day. If you are ever in Salt Lake City, Utah then definitely contact Hope at http://www.aerialempowerment.com She also sells circus apparatus lik silks, hoops, trapeze, etc!

Ugh!!! Severe disappointment this morning! As I was driving out to my pole class this morning, the owner texted me and said she couldn’t make it… Damn. I was really looking forward to this morning.
I spent the morning calling and emailing other studios hoping that someone else can maybe help me out.
I was feeling so desperate that I almost stopped at a playground to vent my poling frustrations! (there were tons of little ones there or I probably would have!!!)
Sigh… Talk about pole addiction lol.
Anyways, if anyone in SLC can get together tomorrow or Thursday morning to jam, please hit me up!

I wish I had done this sooner, but the trip just crept up on me so quickly lol! If I get some interest from anyone I’ll make it an event! Wish you were here Veena 🙂

A libel situationI find it very odd that they would use your name like this.. it's not rude or demeaning or really inflammatory.. it just insinuates that you go there every once in a while for training and that you gave them good reviews.. It's just so weird!!!
I really think you should just send them a nice formal letter (without an attorney) stating that they do not have your permission to use your name, or to imply that you "approve" of their teaching techniques, or to state that you have given positive reviews of their business.
But either way, I agree with Empyrean, by venting on here you have let pole dancers know what's really the truth. And the pole dancing community is a close knit family!

Thanks for the name drop Chem! =)
Yeah! I love my PS star stand alone! It works great, I have yet to have any problems with mine! I have a video of the set up of the pole under my vids.

And since I am not familiar with the situtation, I googled and found this:
"Jessica Rawson (pole instructor)
Jessica Rawson is an instructor at another pole dance studio in another city but often comes to APD to get training from our instructors. She recently posted a great review on Veena website as well as in the Akron Beacon Journal.
There are dancers who come from all over including clubs to get instruction.
If your a pole dance instructor who needs additional training, our instructors will help you become a better instructor.
If you are interested in taking up pole dancing or pole aerobics as a career, we can help you as well as we have helped many great dancers today."
(Am I right in assuming this is you>?)
If they don't, just write up a google review, yelp review, yahoo review, etc… stating that you are NOT in any way affiliated with this company. Then at least they are the ones who look foolish by trying to capitalize off your name.
And if worse comes to worse.. you may have to go to court.

I am also drooling over those feather skirts! It's time to plan an unofficial pole dance feather skirt creating event!

I've worked at salons for years, my BFF and my mom are both stylists, and from my experience, going back to blonde can wreck havoc on the hair! If you MUST do this at home, you can do what is called a "shampoo bleach" where you literally mix bleach and shampoo and rub it in. Leave it on for 10-15 min, rinse, and if needed you can repeat. Use a low volume bleach like 20v. It is less damaging to hair, but works slower. I would recommend that you dye your hair light/medium brown to cover your red, wait a few weeks, shampoo bleach, dye it light brown/dark blonde, wait a few weeks, etc..
My best recommendation would just be to go to a good salon and have an expert do it. It will end up being cheaper than having to fix it multiple times. Trust me. I bleached off half of my hair last year in a DIY moment. It's finally grown back now. =)
Either way, good luck!
Oh, and I agree with Chem, you will need uber protein to fix the damage! I like L'oreal Professional deep conditioners. Their fiberceutic line is great!
