If you take pictures of your bruises so you can document your progress and show them off later.

If your camera is filled with pole pictures but you forget to bring it for other events like birthdays and weddings…

If your boyfriend doesnt even glance away from his video game as you practice a sexy chair dance.

You are constantly searching for pole anything online.

Everyone you know has heard you say, "I can’t go then because I have class that night" or "I can meet you after pole class."

I do have elastic wrist supports / compression gloves that I wear at night, but I just can’t find anything more heavy duty. I’d like something that has plastic or metal "plates" in them so that they are stiff.

thanks mizvix for the info, but I’m looking for something firmer than that. I want the type of grips that gymnasts, or skate boarders would use, but without a thumb support! Tigerpaws are the closet thing I have found, they are for gymnastics, but they have a thumb "hole" and I just want it to cover my wrist only. My boyfriend told me I should just invent some lol! I’m considering it now though, because I still haven’t found anything!

It’s probably the new song "cooler than me" by mike posner. I just did a routine to this song, your hubby has good taste https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

    Hey Jenn,

I work for studio, so I am covered by their insurance. We do make them sign waivers before hand. I’m not sure what type of private insurance you would need? Maybe call the state board of health/fitness and ask if they can direct you?

Can you post a vid of you trying? It could be multiple things =) Maybe try practicing a crucifix first and get your thighs toughened up.

I take classes, teach class, and I pole on my own =)

In my classes we do a quick warm up 3-4 songs, stretches, hip circles, dance moves, etc. Then we learn and do a full routine (we change out every 3 weeks) for about 35 min. Then we do 3-4 songs of ab work. Followed by a mere 15 min on the pole, (sometimes we just do tricks, some instructors do a short routine)! Then we do a quick stretch. And I typically stay after class for 30 min to do more tricks, especially climbs and inverts. We only have fitness classes, so a lot of the pole work is on my own.

In my typical on my own workout, I again start with a quick warm up and stretch. I usually start with my harder moves, or if I have something I really want to try. I throw in some dance routines, and do many tricks! It really depends on my mood and if I have a song I want to jam too.

I use mighty grip every time I pole. I put a good amount on my hands, only the palms, but not my fingers. That way I can grip without having any issues with spins, I also realized when I put it on my fingers I’m more prone to sliding and twisting my fingers. I also have put it on my calves for more grip when trying one leg inverts. I don’t need it between the knees or elbows, for some reason I grip just fine. I used to wipe my pole between moves, but sometimes I think it works better when I leave some trace grip on the pole. I would very much like to try some other grip aids. Anyone think iTac2 is strong enough? I’d like to try 3 or 4 possibly, I feel like my hands are always super sweaty, even if I’m not hot. I think your best bet is to experiment a bit and see what works for you. And if anyone has answers for me about iTac I appreciate it.
