Hi Julie! My name is Jarah, and I would love love love to take classes with Brass Ovaries. As I’ve posted before I don’t have the funds just yet. I looked at the site and I was wondering about price variation if I were to buy monthly private lessons (going once a week or possibly twice a week)? Or possibly if I were to pay upfront, 6 months worth of classes, twice a week? Am I being insane? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif I would rather make an upfront payment for a longer duration of time simply b/c I would have it taken care of for however long and wouldn’t have to hassle with remembering this and that on a weekly basis(I’m a complete disaster as far as organization goes). Not only that but with the possibility of some sort of discount? I’m not sure how it all works! Thanks so much for taking the initiative! I can’t wait to really get into joining the poling community!

Sadly my finances are no where near allowing me to take pole classes as of yet, but I’m hoping to change that soon. YAY! Brass Ovaries was the place I was looking forward to taking classes. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif
Love hearing from a fellow Texan! Thanks for the warm welcomes!!!

    What a fantastic thread!
I’ve just gotten on here, I don’t have a pole yet, but hopefully sooner rather than later it’ll happen. Anyway I’ve been trying something rather new… eating healthy, gaining strength, losing weight, and getting more flexible. I’ve come a little ways (lost about 8lbs so far). Usually I don’t go by pounds but how I look and feel, but I feel I need a bit more of an indicator as far as being a healthy weight and what not.
So… I will be taking a picture of myself from week to week and I’m going to try and make it look good just b/c I need a positive motivator, and I think it’ll be better for me rather than putting up an undiserable picture of myself.yeesh too scary lol
    So as of now I weigh… wait for it… eeeek 243 and I’m 5’7" – 5’8"
    Short term goals:
    Eat more vegetables
No eating white bread!!!! In fact try staying away from bread as much as possible
Drink at least 2 Liters of water a day
    Smaller food portions
Working out at least 30 min. a day
Stretch at least 30 min. a day
No candy, chips, soda, etc. (not too hard b/c I don’t drink soda, and I don’t crave chips and candy anymore)

    Long term goals:
To loose a total of 100 lbs. (I’m thinking a year and a half to a two year time span would be healthy?)
Be flexible enough to do the splits, and to lift my leg straight above my head (I’ve always wanted to do that)
Set a healthy way of life for myself and my daughter

Wow, feels good to actually write all that out! I’d love to hear any tips!
