"The more pole dancers come out and start talking about pole instead of avoiding it the better! "

^^Exactly! I always take the opprotunity to educate people about it. They won't know unless we teach them the other side of pole.https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

lol, I just got one yesterday. I got it to help cover my bruises, though! I had NO issues with my grip….but it could depend on the particular tanning solution that was used?

Do to my bruising( still after 9mo!) I went to the doc and had them do blood work to make sure nothing was wrong. Turns out im completely healthy other than low b12. So I started getting b12shots to help with my brusing…I have not been able to see or feel much  difference. But maybe thats because I was low on it. They are gonna retest me in a month to make sure Im absorbing it. It didnt give me that energy boost I had read about, either. I was kinda bummed, but everybody is different.

I’m self taught through SV and YouTube. I LOVE the specific instruction Veena gives. I did buy a groupon for a studio near me….I’m not impressed with it, honestly, which sucks. After such great instruction by Veenas videos….it makes the instructor look pretty unprofessional, and more of a pole play hour. That’s not what I want( or expect to pay for),I can do that at home.

My neighbor does pole with me, she’s 43 and we have learned together at my house from the beginning, on YouTube then added SV. Good luck! You’ll love it. It’s my drug of choice and I’m addicted 🙂

Well I’m a fan of MTPS on fb, so all their news and announcements show up on my feed. That’s where I read it. Maybe it just hasn’t spread yet?

The teddy bear kills me! I think because my boobs get in the way…. and it takes a bit longer to get the right spot? And I can’t do the Scorpio for the life of me…with the pain on that little tender spot on my upper thigh! I think I’d rather poke my eyes out 🙁 Lol

I wouldn’t touch a pole 2wks post-op! That’s crazy. Ummm I’d be more comfortable with the time line of 4-6 wks post-op and start slow. There are some simple exercises her surgeon( if hes any good)should give her to slowly regain function. I know when I had my boobs done…..I couldn’t lift my arms to put a shirt over my head for about a week. I did have the implants placed under the muscle, though, so that would make a difference.

I use grapeseed oil to moisturizer my skin. Once it’s absorbed it doesn’t leave your skin oily, like every other lotion/ moisturizer. Just put it on before bed, then by morning it’s completely soaked in. And it’s natural. I use corn Huskers right before a session for extra tackiness if I need it. Hope that helps.

I got into it to lose baby weight, and fell in love with every aspect of pole. I embrace it all. It’s now my second husband, lol !
