Talk to your doctor about the asthma and controlling it with exercise. Very important!!!
P90X was too macho and boring for me but I know many people do it. From the people I know that have done it… they are unable to sustain it because of the sacrifices they must make in their lives to afford those hours and hours a day.
I agree with Chem that you should first find programs available maybe for rent or viewing before committing financially.
Doing exercise with consistency that targets your specific goals is the key. There is a website I like called collagevideo.com that has a ton of exercise DVDs of all types and you can preview them. This can help you see if you 'jive' with the program before you even buy it.

Any time I'm doing moves with any type of speed or lift I close the baby gate in the hallway. Pole space becomes off limits for fur babies until gate is opened!
They are allowed in when I do flexibility training or floor work and they LOVE my yoga mat. I am wondering if I need to get one for them to chill on because they take it over when I am on it. (Okay… I let them take it over but still).

Such a cute comment Veena about the Sexy Webby! LOL!
Just wanted to also thank you both for this online community. It is a great place for us to learn, share and grow.

I have both X Pole and Platinum Stages products and I enjoy both manufacturer's products.
The video can be informative for someone that wants to get an idea of each product and see different aspects of each product.
The consumer has a right to choose which product they are interested in.
Name calling is unacceptable behavior and has nothing to do with the products presented in the video.
Webmaster, you look great! That's my personal opinion that has nothing to do with the products presented in the video.

This is a wonderful review showing many different aspects of the stages! The side by side is a great idea and a great way to show differences.

When I want a specific length cut I buy from holidayleds.com. They cut in 3feet increments on some colors and I like the quality of their rope lights the best. They are more expensive though.
I have also bought from Amazon.com and Lowes.
Amy, Chem and Ronia have good suggestions too! You can always call the store before you go to see if they will have what you are looking for.

I do not like the feel of the adjuster cover so I did the top loading and like it much better that way. Hope you get that help soon so you can check it out and see if you like it.
I got really chicken when it came to drilling into the joist so the ceiling mount isn't up yet. I'm thinking I'll be asking for help from my super handy friend this week.

MemberJanuary 2, 2012 at 7:28 pm in reply to: I can’t get my top loaded Platinum Stage Single Piece Extreme down… help!!!Thanks Chem for your reply. There is a small hole where you could thread a tiny tool through at the top but it does nothing for the functioning of the pole. I need to buy a wrentch big enough if this happens again and I can't tighten it for some reason.
Thanks Lyme Lyte and Sensualscimitar also for you replies. I figure posting is good for someone else that might do what I did and need to know.

Tighten the pole more. It is counterintuitive but that will cause the hex nuts to lift slightly away from the pole. Then they are easy to move by hand to move.
Got my pole down.
