    Nice lookin' Pole!!!

Mine should be arriving Monday. I have to remove a ceiling fan before I can try it out. I did order the vaulted ceiling adapter as they call it. The 'semi permanent' option. Really hoping all looks as expected under the ceiling fan base. Excited to get my single piece brass polin on!

Reminds me to add Brasso to my shopping list.

  • Jenny99… thank you so much for suggesting the cleaning product! I went to three stores looking for anti icky poo and could not find it in town. Went to a specialty dog store here to get their ice cream treats and saw a product called 'UNIQUE' pet odor and stain remover. The packaging looked like the same concept,  a product you dilute with water and apply that is live bacteria and treats urine, vomit, blood etc etc.

The Unique is AMAZING!!! It is safe for people and pets. It has no fumes or caustic chemical agents. It WORKS!!! The carpet/pad/tack was pulled up last week. Wed and Thursday I treated the areas he soiled frequently. I treated the concrete subfloor exposed where the carpet tack was and also the vinyl that was underneat the carpet and pad. Allowed the product to work overnight on Wed and Thurs as the instructions said when treating heavy stains. I treated the entire room with a weaker mixture due to it not being soiled except for those heavily soiled areas.

There is no urine smell in that room! The new floor was installed today. For new soiled areas I can just wipe up using a weak solution of Unique/hot water. No more carpet… no more pads. I can't believe it!!! I have had two friends come over and insisted they stand in the room and smell it!

It is amazing! For anyone that needs a product to get rid of biologic/organic stuff (almost any pet parent would need this) try it!!! I had to sidetrack to share my experience with this product and thank Jenny for telling me this type of product existed. It has worked when nothing else did. I am so releived and happy!

Tomorrow I will put on new baseboards. One more mirror to put up (bought wrong size) and new pole room will be almost complete!

Cool Madisonsworld! Having two rooms you could use it in is a plus! Even though garage might be too cold etc but if you want to get crazy with some moves you could have the room for it! Or just move the bedroom furniture into the garage and take over the bedroom as pole space! Its all about priorities right? ; )

I called PS last night and they told me to try and measure the floor as accurately as possible for the single piece. Even though there is that six inches of adjustment. I measured many times. If I get a pole that is too long and doesn't fit my room I'm going to be ordering a few hundred cases of kleenex to cry my eyes out in.

I saw the sale and was happy about that, also… do not forget about the coupon code, 10% off for Studio Veena members. That saved me money and I LOVE saving money.

I read that some people trip a little over the bases of the poles but have not read reviews specific to the adjuster covers.

"Winner Winner Chicken Dinner"! That's a cute saying, LOL! I ordered a PS one piece yesterday and am excited. As long as structurally they are sound (kind of a no brainer right?!?) poles then fall into personal preference for diamter and finish. Whichever you go with… hoping you totally LOVE it!!!

I started out with 50 mm Chrome X poles. I love my X's. I like putting them in different rooms and feel very safe on them. I went with a 50 initially because many said it is a standard. I did have issues with X joints spinning around but just read they have redesigned them to reduce this.

I want a single piece brass now so ordered a Platinum Stage Brass. I want to try a non coated pole that is one piece… If that works out I will eventually try their Steel. I love variety. I will do a ceiling mount on the PS pole so that one was measured just for the room it is going in.

Excited to hear about how things go with your pole journey. PS also offers 10% off discount for Veneers! Erica mentions that earlier in this thread.

Hmmm… would really like to hear more about those. I have 2 Xpoles that could use some better joint technologies. Thanks for sharing! Let us know how they work out for you when you get them installed.

Thanks Erica!!! Very excited. I'll definitely updat when all is istalled. : )

Madisonsworld, yes the flexibility is awesome! Will let you know how it goes. Yay!

PegasusAerialFitness, yup… all PS diamter and finishes as long as they a certain type… all the extreme mutli piece poles will fit regardless of diamter or finish. I think their website mentioned a different version of their poles that would fit too. Starting with a 45 since people seem to love their 45s… been on a 50 so it will be neat to see the difference.

  • I found my soreness from stretching has also dimished with a long standing stretch/flexibility practice. I stopped doing ballistic stretches because they felt too forceful and choppy on my body. That's just me… am sure they exist because some find them helpful.

Breathing deeply into any stretch and taking my time to get in, hold and out of it helps me.

For flexibility training where I am really hitting an area hard, I take time to recover. I have taken up to 72 hours before if I feel my body needs it. If I feel a lot of 'sore' coming on will use a hot soak with epson/bath salts that night.

You got it, will def let you know how it goes!!! I have never been on a 45 either. I have Chrome 50s. Wanted something totally different than what I have and then can add more poles as budget allows since the mount will accommodate different diamter/finishes.

Adding Brasso to my shopping list. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif

    PegasusAerialFitness… make that 42 times!

I took the plunge! 45mm Brass Single Piece 'Extreme One Piece Super Pole'. I can't wait to get the ceiling adaptor up and have my own single piece brass at home! For any of you with 2" joists, I was advised to rotate it like a diamond and secure two of the screws into the joist… just as you suggested Tarah!

Erica, thank you for your help and replies. Also… thank you PS for the 10% discount. It is really nice of you to extend that to this community.

    So excited!!!

My main curiosity was if the PS mount was Xpole compatible since my joist does accommodate a PS mount and I have X poles.

Thanks! I am aware of their mount. Spoke with their reps and due to my joists I am unable to use it without modification to the joist and due to my attic that room is not accessible to reinforce the joist. I love my X’s! Looking for brass finish and single piece pole.

I noticed this tread and it is an older one but couldn't resist.

Charley, do the PS Vaulted Ceiling Adapters really work with Xpoles?
