Yeah I’ve been cleaning mine with alcohol diluted with a little water, but still the pole defeats me. I know humidity has a great deal to do with it, but I’m having bad luck even when the house AC is pumping on high. I’m wondering if there is some other film coated on it that needs to eventually wear off. I’m lost!

I really needed to fight off some frustrations today with it too.

I’m hearing mixed things on the best temperature conditions to dance in. Things aren’t picking up with my TG 45mm as I hoped for. I can’t practice any moves besides spins, because my hands and body just slides right off this pole. I’m going to have to get gloves I believe, but where’s the sex appeal in that!

    Any suggestions???

    Veena,

I just got my TG 45mm and set it up. I haven’t poled for about 6 months so I’m lacking strength anyway, but I noticed I can’t hold the pole in between my legs to sit, etc. It’s more painful then ever and I just can’t hold it. I don’t know if my big thighs are just swallowing it whole or WHAT! My old instructor says I’ll get used to it… she’s just as thick legged as I am. So I don’t know. It’s great for my hands because I couldn’t hold onto the 50mm upside down to save my life.

ALL that to ask…. Do you think sitting on the pole and holding it tight between legs will ever get easier??? I’m hella discouraged.

I just got my TG 45mm XPert an set it up last night. I too have that slight gap between A & B main poles. Mine doesn’t seem nearly as much of a gap as yours but it is there and only on one side. I haven’t tried the love tap trick yet, but while using it I haven’t had a problem or felt it. Yours though seems like it would be a problem. Hope it works out.

The finishing may just be a slight factory defect. I’m sure they put the poles in a machine to be coated, but if it’s that far on the edge I wouldn’t worry. I’ve read (dont remember where) that over time the coating’s color will reflect that of the chrome but the feeling will remain the same as you purchased. It may change due to sunlight, lighting etc.

Just a few things that could be improved that were amicable before the change:

    1. Timestamps in videos
    2. Show more thumbnails of videos in screen not scrolling below but easier for me to find one of interest m click on it. Also if I click on one and go back to find another it starts me all over from the first video selection… Gets to be tedious to find the next video of interest to play.
    3. Don’t have the video start until I click on a play button to start. I.e- whenever u go to videos page the very first video starts playing wether u want to see it or not.
    4. I thought videos would be able to play on phones too (mobile versions)? They don’t, at least not on my iPhone. If I click on a video it says something about it not being found.

And this is just an out of the box question… But why am I seeing other videos thy aren’t in the least bit pole related? Ice skating, and other family time videos???
