Are you talking about the back of your ribcage? I had the same thing and left it for a week thinking it was a muscle strain and would heal on it’s own, but it turns out I had a dislocated rib that is pinching. I didn’t even know until someone pointed out that it was sticking out more than the other ribs, and I could really feel the difference too. Maybe see a chiropractor just to be safe?

I don’t know what causes them, but my legs are covered in spider veins (always have been). I always wonder if they are the reason that I bruise so easily. My legs are black and blue after every session, more so than any of the other girls.

Very helpful responses as usual 🙂 I changed my hand position and it really did make a huge difference, I was able to flip all the way around. Now for the fun task of trying to hold it properly while my thighs are on fire ^_^

Lol if I go with my first pet/street I would be Bonsey Windemere, not very sexy! If I go with current, I’d be Mya Brodie, a little better! 😀

Thanks for the responses 🙂
I’ll keep this in mind next time, this move has been driving me crazy ^_^ -
I bruise like crazy. Basically wherever the pole touches me, I’m covered in bruises. At the moment my worst spots are on my one inner calve, my tail bone, and the inner thighs. (Working on superman, iguana mount, and cupid). I also have a pole burn on my stomach from working on gemini.

I almost twist into it, but then my legs slide off the pole every time before I can get my thighs in the proper spot. Butterfly freaks me out because I also fell from it. I didn’t get hurt luckily but it still made me scared to try it again.

I started from scratch about 3 months ago, I couldn’t even do a push-up, and my legs were so inflexible it hurt me to even step over something. I also had a shoulder injury that kept me up at night sometimes it was so bad. Pole has changed my body so much in such a short amount of time. I’m never sore anymore (unless it’s from learning a new move), and my strength has increased a crazy amount. I feel like super woman at work carrying boxes around that the boys have trouble lifting ^_^

Thanks for all the replies, very helpful advice. I’m thinking that maybe it is more to do with my arms or chest, so I ‘ll try to focus more on those areas next time I’m practising 🙂

Yep, after 2 days in a row of practising this and superman I need a couple rest days too, hehe. I’ll let you know how it goes 🙂

This is helpful actually because I hadn’t tried removing that inside arm first, I think I may have been taking the opposite one off. I will definitely try that, thank you 🙂
