Thanks for the speedy reply!  That's what I was afraid of, putting holes in the ceiling with a friction mounted one, so I'll probably be ruling that option out. 

As for the door frame/entry way, it's about 5"9' inches wide which is actually almost enough space to accomadate my tiny little legs with a pole half-way in the middle (I'm only just barely 5"1' haha). But it's still not a ton of space for dancing (or a lot of height).
