I haven’t done anything the last few days as I’ve been completely exhausted and it’s an effort to haul myself out of bed in the morning (slight cold and insane work demands that don’t let up). I got part way through the 30 day challenge and once I’d built up some more strength I tried to get back into some of the other moves that I had previously mastered. This will be great motivation to get back into the 30 day kick-start. 🙂

I bought an x-pole expert 45mm from X-pole UK and I’m very happy with it. They delivered within the UK and then I took it on the plane as they don’t deliver to my location (and shipping is generally a nightmare). I like the chrome finish – haven’t been on the pole for some time and so went back to the basics. This finish has the right combination of challenge and “stickability” for me.

I’ve only just got my pole set up (yay – finally) and I’ve started the 30 day abs challenge and the kick start programme as I have been off the pole for a while and I really need to build strength. Mine will be abs of Aug and Sept! 🙂 Only worry is that I travel a lot and may struggle with roll ups (even in a door frame) and knee tucks. I usually pop in a Switch for good measure. Any other suggestions?
(I’m just imagining doing the roll ups in a hotel door way in the Middle East …. Guaranteed to be labelled as the “more-crazy-than-usual” foreigner!!!) -
Thanks – I’ve put it in the x-pole carry case with its pockets. I’ll bubble wrap the outside and hope that will protect it. Good luck to them flinging the poles around! ;). I’ll definitely wrap the dome inside the carry case and also the exterior of the case.
I suspect it might not get on the connecting flight once I arrive in Istanbul. I’ve had trouble going through this airport before when connections have been tight. They usually deliver the following day in that case.
Hoping and praying for a smooth experience. My pole is traveling to Turkey!

I have had to go back and relearn a lot of stuff and I’m finding it easier to test out the positioning of a spin on the spinning pole and as soon as my body knows what it’s supposed to be doing and what bits go where, I try the move on a static pole. I’ve got quite a lot of strength, so holding myself isn’t the challenge. I find that having come back to pole recently, I need to work more on positioning and having the confidence that I can get into position.
