Hey! Well not sure of what you are asking really, but I remeber her from rock of love and she is a great dancer. I know there is a feature school in florida that looks awesome, and I saw a dancer..Jennifer Steele (I think it was) when I worked at a club in shreveport, she went to the school and told me that was where she learned the most. I think it was.. anyway they teach you more than just dancing and routines, but about costumes and props. I think the school is like a week or two. You aren't too far away in Louisiana! If you ever want to come to Houston let me know! I need to make a New Orleans trip by the end of the year or early next year. I don't know why you say that feature dancing is a way out of the clubs though..just sayin..it will just mean you travel more to different clubs. In order for them to feature you though you have to have a recognized name/reason..Taya being on TV and in Penthouse. Your competition wins definitly help and can get you started closer to home.

Nice! Yeah I know that area. I used to waitress at Legs/Illusions right down the street by Kokopelli's. I know that area has changed, but I miss late nights down there!

Hey Aquarius80! I lived in Shreveport for 6 years, now in Houston! I haven't been back in a while, but still have friends and miss it. We'll have to chat..I want to visit this summer. I saw there is a studio in Shreveport now. Is it yours?

Hey! I get eczma when I am under stress. I never had it until I was I think 22 or 23..I am now 29. I don’t have problems all the time, but it’s irritating https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mad.gif …Anyway I really like coconut oil..You can use it on your face. I have never gotten eczma on my face normally its arms or back of my legs. You can get coconut oil at whole foods. I use it externally and sometime I will add it to a smoothie. I also will use tamanu oil it’s a nut oil like shea. I like to use natural stuff because the steroid creams I have been prescribed scare me, but I will use them if it gets bad enough. Hope you get it under control!

I have felt like this as a beginner..and being bottom heavy. I guess it all happens eventually. I hope I get as fuid as some of you talented ladies. I just have to remind myself that it takes time. So that should be the motto for us newbies..It takes time!

Thanks! I knew you all could make me feel better! I figure I can still get in shape and then hopefully get a new, new to me pole in the summer. someone just sent me a message about this post…somehow i missed this one for some odd reason.
we would love to host a pole jam!!! i have been trying to get to the one’s in dallas but my schedule hasnt been working. dumb question… so exactly how does everything work? i might not be able to open this up to our students b/c it will fill up too fast so i will probably just have to keep it a private event just for studio veena members from dallas and houston and any other surrounding cities. i might extend an invitation to my level 4 girls. let me know what i need to do and i can clear some time on the schedule for it. what is the typical format? (excuse my type "A"ness)
the best days for us would be a saturday (after 1pm) or sunday. m-f we are pretty filled to the max with classes. we will be closed march 18-21 b/c we will be in nyc for uspdf.

I don’t think there is a "format’ I think it’s just like free pole and we have maybe a little party along with it. Kinda like a pole social. A lot of us are new, we just have a high interest..so the level of your students wouldn’t really matter.
