Why not both colour flecks in the paint? I would have mirrors, a mat area for flexibility, floor work practice, warm up/cool down. A shelving unit for: shoes/boots, leg warmers, accessories, cleaning supplies, grip aides, refreshment area, stable area for camera (better than tripod), music unit, computer for lessons -reminder, whatever heart desires. And a variety of lighting: dimmer, black uv light, colour, maybe strobe ( someone here mentioned it helped with speed of walking, floor work (which I am still waiting to try!!))
If you dance in sexy stilettos (like I do) non carpet a must investment!!

So I bought mini tubes if 5 different brands, none avail.
Yay for the polers that can find use. I can feel the usefulness immediately afterwards but no good after 10 minutes, I’m a natural ‘I’m freezing’ person that LOVES the heat, but am moist (clammy more than sweaty)all the time, my hands can be cold & moist in the 90* F summers, good except on SS on brass.
iTac, TiteGrip, Dry Hands don’t work (or I haven’t used the right combo) only thing that works= dry washcloth in my cleavage to take out every 5minutes(literally) to wipe off hands, warm up pole(not dry off pole, COLD hands)

Some fun under tones if you have luck with warmers. If this boot is strictly tie up (?) no zipper, try thicker or different shoe strings/ties.

Leg warmers / knee high socks. Some boots fit, some need MINOR adjustments. For me sometimes a calf needs extra padding, so I have different thickness of leg warmers and sometimes old leggings torn to fit or stuff into areas of the boots, without the gym sock in the shorts budge look and feel.

Bruising : Arnica Montana. Pill or cream/gel. I got it at a health store, then for cosmetic surgery. High grade at plastic surgeon’s office. Which anyone (in our area) can buy anytime, whatever reason. High grade so much better.
I like the bruises at times, I show friends saying pole dancing is sexy- see?! Then to boyfriend – I’m so sore rub me more. Proof. But when I get pedi’s I want them gone and use Arnica

How is it after a couple minutes- 1/2 hr? What finish is the pole you’ve been trying this on? Are you warmed up, the pole warmed up, room ventilated (?spell)
I have BAD grip and I have tried so much ideas, waiting for pine tar! And it all comes down to (for me) the different conditions of me, pole, room, weather/temperature.
Paste or gel. Haven’t used toothpaste idea yet. Vinegar is working out normally- yes everyone knows when I’ve been around!

I have implanon. Reason- I thought it would be best for my lifestyle (at time of insert) and was afraid planned parenthood would shut down (can’t afford $390 for 3 months of pills).
At the time I didn’t pole; I had multiple partners (was in open relationship, monogamous now); no births; mum & grandma had issues with IUDs. I don’t want kids, would rather be sterilized. Afraid Nuva Ring wouldn’t be inserted properly. I had to have my dad put in my retainer, because it didn’t click. And contacts- same thing (hopeless)
Periods have always been light max 3 days, before, I only needed light absorbency tampons. Since implanon lighter bleeding infrequently, always. Sometimes months, days, whatever , I take a urine preg test every month, scared.
No weight gain till I had cosmetic surgery, (couldn’t workout, then after I got clearance) the added weight doubled 8 pounds to 20 pounds, I can’t get off. I’m coming to terms with it. The warning did say weight gain possible.
Mood swings are desperate. I want to get a punching bag & do bad things to it. Sisters and mum have issues with hormonal pills, they choose different paths.
I’m afraid I might break it ( inside left arm, right is dominate) if I try certain holds- the bruises look different & are sore different.
I haven’t made an appt for removal because I’m afraid pp might not have funding, & having a kid is not for me (my bf would marry me if I wanted kids, that’s why we were in open relationship).
I wonder if it can be moved, or get a life time supply of pills, or security of birth control for my future. Or secretly get sterilized ( I was told it was a not a choice for non mothers)

I understand. It’s sad when my chore growing up was to get the mail. My mum said get the mail so your dad doesn’t see the bills, & my dad said get the mail so your mom doesn’t get any catalogs.
Phone calls are literally anxiety attack. Growing up my mum said its just bill collectors, don’t answer it, it will only cause your dad & I fight.
When I grew up and started making money she demanded all of it because she gave me everything. She would take my money & claim it was for utilities & they would be shut off. I always went to pay station to pay afterwards. When I moved out she did the same thing to my sisters.
I have no idea how she can … Bad thoughts. But now she’s married to a man worst than her. I try to be quiet when she vents (I want to roll my eyes & said this is exactly how you are & were) its sad because he is purposely sabatoges their credit for a house purchase. Because he’s jealous. Or at least that’s what he claims.
I wish she either did better at establishing a healthy relationship with her family (my sisters, other relatives) or didn’t ingrain guilt. We finally have to save ourselves from unhealthy relationships, we know that now, but fall prey to American pop culture of ‘it all works out in the end’ and we have hope.

So I made my list put it on the fridge for bf to see, put in on bathroom mirror, gargage door, and soon in car somewhere.

Yet bf had to try to defy it. What is with him trying to push my willpower,? He did/does this all the time with my pole studio's pole classes and fitness bootcamp.

I like to workout so I have membership to Planet Fitness (he could go with me) and we have a couples membership at another gym that has a pool (planet fitness doesn't, I want to learn to swim and relax in a spa after some invert (true reason for signing up at the gym))

He has yet to go. He isn't in bad shape, just not the best. He does out run me in speed, not endurance; when we go to the park to jog. I'm not a runner, jogger- neaaa, kinda. I said if we were at the gym we can jog/run together side by side at our own pace.

He complains I'm never home, I want to be a stripper (due to pole fitness?), you're too tired or sore for intimacy (arguement not valid- just….I won't go there)

But I'm gonna to try! And my argument is 'There is not try, only do.'

Anywho. I'm always a motivator for others and want a physical motivator I can run (haha) to speak to when at home discouraged.

    SO keep it up Veeners!!

@ – I have to use UV beds when it rains and under 68*F AND also when it's under 65*F. I was thinking about buying a red light/blue light  for light therapy but I discovered 'tanning' beds.

At work when the AC is so low, I can't body temperature regulate so I start getting mini migraine symptoms (dizziness, blindness, auditory hallucinations, and nauseam). I know I literally would not be able to live in colder climates. My despression comes for psychological and physiological disfunction. I had to go to the doctors for constant migraines and then breaking down with symptoms occur- he hypothesized SAD could be it. And we agreed for a hollistic approach, I want some medicinal support as well, it was so hard.

@MadisonsWorld- I can say, I too with the sexual encounters and partner of 10 yrs who is now my bf after discussion of limits is kinda weirded out about his boundaries on that. I say partner because I was in relationships with others that could satisfy parts of what I need/want/desired. Not everyone is fortunate with an open lifestyle and it boiled down I wanted traditionalism more than some other needs met.

Bests to you, if you don't think this area of sexual gratification is a concern, I agree and so many others do too (find a sex therapist for both your husband and you to talk in a safe place with) But ultimate issue of the post was depression, again the bests to you. Like to hear resolution of appt or Tx.

Roadtrip to Florida for hugs. I understand pain desire. Sometimes I can deal with it other times I release and do various things. I never cut before. Do you have a friend in the piercing business? That could help? Non permanent.
I have major SAD (seasonal affective disorder) it’s weird how so many people make it illegitimate.
I’m looking into getting medical insurance with mental care because I’m tired of being ‘imbalanced’

    YES PRACTICE!

Point  toes and be conscious of leg and hip angling. Yes balls of feet walks and wall/pole work looks better imo, learn the acyrlics (platform area) and ankle placement for slide down pole and floorwork pike (?)

    PRACTICE!

Stilettos were never a thought in my life till I started poling, now I can't wait to buy another and another. I've been hooked on pleasers (brand) treasure (name of  style) so I can stuff random trinklets in them for fun!

    PRACTICE!

Look for sole rubber grips and if the toe (straps?) are too taunt try heating with blow drier to warm  them. That is my quick fix stretching, because I like them a little taunt when I'm sweaty (always) I don't want to slide off 6-7 inches mid sexy walking. Ankle straps are good for (imo) climbing on hot days, learning inverts (always scared I might stab myself in the face)

PRACTICE. Don't let height scare you, I can walk better in 6 3/4 -7 1/2" heels (must be the platform) than 6 – 5" heels.

The ultimate strip club list???? That’s what we occasionally use when the studio & friends want to visit some clubs.
I’m not a stripper nor dancer nor performer nor talent. Luv and support anyone brave, talented, good work ethics (above titles are NOT excluded) that serves and delights me!
