I’ve had my 40 for almost a year and its still slippery. Chrome works best in warmer weather I found.I’m considering getting it coated in hopes it makes it a bit more grippy. Let me know if you find any remedies!

get yourself an aloe plant. when ever i get pole burns, i just cut a piece off and rub the juices on to the skin. it relieves the stinging pain imediately.

What size is your pole? I find doing geminis, and pretty much any leg gripping move, more painful on my skinny 40mm. Your not alone.

    Thanks for the tips amy!

Bought a 40mm cause of my tiny hands. If xpole had a 38 I would of gotten that instead.

I'm 5'2 with small hands and loves spin mode, so that was the selling point for me. I just have better grip on my 40mm….i don't go flying off lol. I went from a 50mm to a 40 and the first practice I had on my 40mm I achieved  things I couldn't imagine of doing so soon.

I agree with Sensual. Since you already have the 45mm and 50mm you should go ahead and get a 40mm if anything. I have the 40mm chrome and I can only imagine how great a 38mm would be. Only had my 40mm for 2.5 months and im already doing tg handsprings- im sure if i had anything bigger i wouldnt be excelling as fast.
