@chemgoddess i,m not really sure just something colour changing, dont want anything thats going to fill the room, but just light up my pole area. I like the look of the mipole lights as they are run on batterys, so no wires, and they sound easy to put on the pole without havin to take my pole down.

My god this is so ridiculous, hardly a strip club is it. And even if it was nobody is getting forced into going there!  My mum always told me" if you dont like it, dont look.  If you havent anything nice to say, best to say nothing"! To many judgemental, small minded idiots in this world!!

On my anklets the stitching is coming undone on the edges around the back. The fronts of them if I lay them out flat the stitching looks fine but when I turn them over the stitches on the back have either split (horizontally) or the stitches are to close to the end of the tack strip and the actual strip is fraying(vertically) hence the loose stitching at the ends. I think the 3 strips are going on mine but one foot is worse than the other but thats obviosly down to me not swapping them over. Sorry for all the vertical/horizontal dont know how else to explain it. I would say my bottom strips are the worst, then the top and then the middle. Hope this helps x

I mean vertically, I think the stitches have broken when they are pulled on and off as the anklet is stretched horizontally to pull over the foot. I think they need vertical stitches every half inch or so. Theres a lot of stretch around the width, but not a lot of stretch going up the length and I think maybe a few stitches going up the length aswell as your stiches going around the width would make them a bit stronger. I'm no seamstress mind just an idea I had to repair mine and see if the tack strips last a bit longer x I'll do it to mine and see if the strips last any longer and let you know x

Hi Tarah, watched your vid WOW  xx Do you think the hol had something to do with it??  Mad coincidence.

I had a lush mess about on the pole today, no standards, no inverts just playing about with lots of bum shaking and looking a bit silly, the best bit was my smile and positive energy the whole time I loved it. Did try one strength move and it wasnt happening but just let it go and carried on having fun. xx

Hi 5 butterflies, I posted this before my 1st routine I was so stuck on moves etc so I took the advice and thought I'd work on the dance element of things, thats when Mr Nice (the other half) gave me his pole dancing tutorial haha. Blues much better now had some excellent advice from here, theres so many lovely people on here I really cant fault it.  I really do hope x pole sort it out for you. God I know how it feels (without the expense mind). I had a my sexy little pole beginning of the year and booked my first private lesson just before mothers day, the weekend before my lesson I over turned the spring loading system and completly ruined my pole. Massive panic on, I had an instructor coming to the house with no pole!!! Luckly the genorous Mr Nice bought me an Xpole just in time (he's not all bad). But my 1st pole was a cheap spring loaded thing not an expensive x pole. xx

The ankle protectors are really good but the tack strips do start to come off. I think if they had a few more stitches running down the strip as well as the stitching going along the strips they may be a bit more resiliant. The tighter they are the better I personally think, they are hard to pull on and off but I  like them to feel secure and they really do. I think the inner thigh protectors are an amazing idea, that is the main place I bruise and it looks terrible. So will be looking forward to the thigh protectors get me 1st on your list.xx

I have the tack gloves and the tack anklets and both are breaking. My gloves are ripping and fraying at the seams, and the anklets stiching is all breaking where it holds the tack strips on, I'll probably re-sew these in a different way as it looks like the stitches have snapped when the material is stretched around my foot. But I can still use the gloves I have had them a good few months so should get a bit more wear out of them. I love the anklets they save my feet from so many bruises.

Hi Tarah, scary isnt it you think your proggressing well and enjoying learning then all of a sudden it goes tits up and for no apparent reason. Wanting to get on the pole but cant find the get up and go, and when you do give yourself that much needed kick up the butt you cant do anything. Big downer! I'm not gona try anything new for a while now just gona take the fab advice off Cinara and Nymphdancer (thank you ladies) and have some fun with the stuff I have learnt so far. It can feel like a jungle sometimes so many moves to learn along with fluidity, grace, your own dance style. Funny you should say you've just been on holidays I went away in June and it was 2 weeks after coming home that I started feeling like this!! Perhaps its not pole blues its post holiday blues??? Who knows?? Keep smiling and enjoy your pole, hope you feel better soon xx

Hi, Thank you so much for all your advice, def need to have fun with the pole and stop stressing over all the stuff I cant do, sure it will all come with time. I am quite determined so when I cant do something it does get me down and I find it hard to put it behind me and focus on something else. And I suppose the constant trying makes me ache all over so I get mentally and physically worn out.  I am very self critical and sometimes dont know how to relax with the pole, even if I try freestyling I'm constantly stopping/starting correcting myself. Think I'll try a bit of fun dancing about being silly and not caring what I look like (easier said than done) let the inhabitions go a bit. Thanks again really appreciate your advice xxx
