MemberNovember 25, 2013 at 1:47 am in reply to: Postpartum pole dancing advice needed.With this pregnancy, I carried a bit lower and I’ve gained 26 lbs. My first pregnancy, when I had diastasis issues, I gained a whole 50lbs! Perhaps that contributed to my diastasis?
Veena, I’ve seen that video, it’s actually what made me sign up! Haha. It’s just comforting knowing that a mother can have her cake and eat it too! Lovely kids, body AND pole! I’m likely not going to try any ab workouts until I’m a month postpartum. My husband would freak out!

The last month seems to just creep on by! I had to take my pole down or I would have been on it everyday. Haha. My labor with my first was fairly easy and I’m hoping I’ll have the same luck this time around. I’m probably just going to put the pole up when I’m 6 weeks postpartum and slowly integrate the old moves into my daily workout routine. I’m really hoping I don’t have diastasis recti too bad this go round. Did either of you have it?
