I think i may win an award for this!!

My pole was won from Mypole.co.uk about 12 years ago and made by http://www.metalfast.co.uk/PolePage.html who were one of the first companies to make poles for home use, it was a removable 1 piece Brass 50mm and i LOVED it. Sadly it left with my ex and i now have a 45mm Chrome x pole which is nice but i do miss the brass baby.

I second this, if you want protein powders there a loads better out there, have a read around the body building and fitness sites if you are looking for supps. I am not sure they do much for  pole work, but i am open to learn!

My rubber soled ones are a nightmare, they stick to carpet and the spike heels getstuck in the pile. Never thought of sticky tape.

i had this issue, it resulted in a bag of frozen peas on each joint, 2 screw drivers in the holes and a large hammer.

Now i am looking for some copper grease before i put it back together again!

Rest days are SO important, I weight train and i find if i have done a hard session and then try again the next day my muscles are swollen and damaged from the prevous days work. So my strength is far less. But keeping my fluids up, foam rolling and gentle stretch help me recover and condition so that after a rest day i can go at it again.

Maybe don't go all out on you 1st day back and leave something in the take for tomorrow?

    Thanks my lovlies!

So has anyone good a good training routine going on? i take class once and week and once i have feeling in my hands again i will double up on classes. Just got aletheas dvd so aiming to do floorwork and splits prep 4/5 days a week with some extra gym work on the side, but all of this will be a gradual process. Plus having my pole at home means i'll be able to practise after class. Wish i knew more SW london polers!
