Thank you so much everyone for all your advice. – Hils, the thing about the heater sounds really good. i think Im goona try that for a while and see if it works. I think it will actually, because now that its winter here I can spend half an hour warming me and my pole up proberly, then I will do and invert wait 2 mins to do the next move and then the pole is cold and I have to start over with warming it. So I think I will try that..
As for all of your other reply’s it just make me feel so much better to know that apparently this is a common thing. Because I was really starting to think, what is wrong with me? LOL .. Im just gonna keep on trying and then it will proberly come back to me..
— and about the inverted crucifix.. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif – got that too, and now I can’t get it.. LOl.. It’s not even funny..

when you’re warming up, you have to warm up your pole also. you will NOT stick to a pole that is cold!!!
I know I did warm up the pole https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif Did alot of different spins on it for about half an hour before I started trying the scorpio.. That should be enough right? Anyways I though the pole was warm enough, it was the skin on my legs that wasn’t.. lol

I think you are right, Veena.. Maybe I am over thinking it.. expecting to get it in the first try just because I got it the last time I practiced.. Maybe I just have to give it some time, and the next time I practice I will give it another go.. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif
Hils – That gives me some reasurance to know that I’m not the only one.. I was like WHAT ? ? What is wrong with me? Why can’t I get it.. – But now that I know it happens to other people aswell I feel a bit better, cause that must mean it will go away … (hopefully) LOL..
I just tried it again, by the way, and it was like I got a little closer – it hurt ALOT though, even more than it did the first time.. Maybe it’s cause I wasn’t proberly warmed up. I did do a loong warm up, but there is so freakin’ cold in my room, so even though I feel like im sweating the skin on my theighs are really cold. Do you guys think that could have something to do with the fact that I’m not sticking proberly ??
Thanks for responding to quickly https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

I definitely think you should go with the 50 mm chrome x pole. Some people think that 45 is easier to pole on, but 50 mm is the standers size in competetions, and that comes in handy. LOL https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif – also I have heard alot of girls say, that titanium gives a better grib than chrome – BUT BUT BUT , oh yes, there’s a but – The titanium is only plated on top of the chrome, its not all the way through. – that means that there is a risk of the titanium peeling off with time, which really doesn’t look pretty. The xpole salewoman from whom I bought my pole (50 mm chrome) told me this, and that totally changed my mind and made me buy the chrome one, and not the titanium plated which was my first choise.. I hope this answers your question Tara https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Hey Beautifully..
I personally use the x-pole, which I love for the simple reasons that it looks beautiful and has a "elegant" design. It has both spin mode and static, its reliable and very safe to use. I know some other dancers use the Lil’mynx pole, and love it, but I have not tried it my self.. – the X-pole can be bought on studioveena, so you wouldn’t have to look far https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif
Good luck pole-hunting https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif
ps. – STAY AWAY from the Electra pole and the peak-a-boo pole – I know they are cheaper than the x-pole but you’ll be waisting your money on them. They are poor quality and very, very dangerous to use as they are only for posing not actual pole-dancing.

Hahahahaaaa…. Oh my god I love this!! I have only been in london 2 times – but everytime I stepped into the tube I was thinking about how cool it would be to give those poles a go https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif Which was quit a few times actually because we were in the tube non stop trying to get places. MemberOctober 3, 2009 at 8:16 am in reply to: Friends of CARAMEL_DLITE ??? please readOh my god. I don’t even know what to say, there are no words that feel right for this. I didn’t really know Gina that well, but I spoke with her a few times in chat and I loved her videos. Especially the one "it’s chilly in my willy" that one made me smile, it was sooo cute and she danced so smooth. Those little "devil-ears" and that scarf she danced with.. It also showed her sense of humor, she was just a very, very sweet and lovable girl.
My heart goes out to everyone who knew her and is suffering the loss of her. Her family, her friends – and her friends here on this site. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I hope whereever Gina is right now, she’s smiling and showing the angels how to work the pole. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif
I hope her profile will continue to stay up on studioveena so we all can leave tribute’s for her on it.

Meleania – I really think that you should see a doctor… I know it costs money, but isn’t your health worth it? There could be something seriously wrong with your wrist since it keeps hurtigt and you have reduced mobility of the wrist.. Just to be on the safe side, and for your own good, see a doctor… Then you know for sure, and wont have to worry about it!
I hope you feel better soon !!
