Perhaps your booty is just getting rounder, and you may be getting in better shape, which is probably why you can see your curve. Or your curve has always been there, but since you’re now twerking, you’re looking at yourself from the side and seeing your curve you never saw before. Just my thoughts. 🙂

There’s also Secret Pole Dance Studio in Culver City. I live in Santa Monica too. Traffic not too bad.

Hi Autumn. I’ve been suffering from carpal tunnel off and on for 27 years. As well as joint pain. When I first started poling, my joins and wrists were very sore. I am now using a Glucosamine, chondroitin and MSM liquid combination and Vitamin B6, which is great for carpal tunnel. Now I feel less pain in my wrists and joints. Lots of luck to you.

Thanks all of you for your advice. I already have an X-Pole x-pert 50mm, but I also want to purchase a 45mm.

I agree @WebJunk. I see a doctor to get a referral on Monday. I just began taking Vitamin B6 for the carpal tunnel and a Glucosamine, Chondroitin and MSM combination (from Costco), so time will tell.

Great job all you over 40. I am 45 years old and have been physically active all my life with various dancing (salsa, hip hop, jazz and ballet), and only started taking pole classes six weeks ago. I am experiencing joint pain and carpal tunnel in both wrists, and I usually take four to five days to recover after each pole session. I am in love with the pole, and I hope my body will get used to this awesome workout!
