Just out of curiosity, how long does it usually take to get your pole delivered from the time you order it through this website…??

This is all great to know… I have a crappy pole and am looking to buy the X-pole soon… i think im going to go with the 50mm, but what is the difference between chrome and titanium? is one better than the other or is it just a preference thing? mine now is made out of crappy aluminum… what a waste of money!! also, are all the X-poles sold by Veena static and spinning? thanks!!

(1) How long do you practice?
I don’t really time anything, i just go and if its going well, i keep going, if not i’ll stop…it’s usually around an hour during the week and anywhere between 1-3 hours on the weekends(2) How often do you practice?
I try and get on the pole everyday, even if its only for 15 minutes… it’s my addiction and i need a little everyday to stay level https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif(3) Do you just freestyle or do you have a plan of action?
Freestyle mainly but i have certain moves that i want to work on each time but find that if i just go with the flow and don’t plan things out that is when i have my biggest breakthroughs(4) Do you stretch before, after or before & after practicing?
I do a little stretching before but i do my big stretching afterward when my muscles are nice and warm… Fleur’s stretching vids are great! i’m working on trying to get into split and have seen a huge improvement since i started(5) Do you incorporate any strength training & conditioning exercises into your practices?
I try and do yoga in the mornings, just a simple sun salutation and incorporate pilates too(6) Do you self-teach, take classes, or both?
I took a six week class but now I’m self teaching, with the help of Veena and everyone on this site of course https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gifthanks!!

i feel your pain Foxy… I was diagnosed with "over active sweat glands" quite a few years ago…its kinda embarassing a lot of the time… i actually had a girl in my pole class that i had to share a pole with comment on how slippery the pole was after i used it just once… SachaPoles had this great move with using her shirt to wipe the pole during her dance…im not quite "hawt" enough yet to make it look sexy, but i know you could do it in a heartbeat!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif goodluck and keep your head up!

Shit happens, and you cannot take the all the responsibility for this, just like everyone else said, both you and your boyfriend trusted that the other one was OK and it so happens that might not be the case…shit happens, u just learn from it for the future…yes, this could be something serious, but it may also not be so don’t waste any of your energy on it until you know for sure…and it might not even be an STD so you might be freaking out for no reason… something like this happened to me once and it turned out just to be a scratch… just try and relax and don’t say anything to the BF until you know for sure… I’m sending positive energy your way and i wish you all the luck tomorrow… xoxoxo
