I used to subscribe to your lessons. I don’t think the pricing is off at all; you get a lot of bang for your buck. It’s a lot cheaper than going to a studio. I didn’t renew during my pregnancy because I knew I wouldn’t use it, and there was a period before that that I didn’t have a pole because I sold my X-stage because we were moving, so I didn’t renew then either. I definitely will renew soon because this baby weight ain’t losing itself, but I have to wait a few months to figure out our finances because we just hired a nanny. Overall, it’s not a huge expense, but I want to be careful with our finances just now because holy cow, babies are expensive.
I think your pricing is very fair, and I think PayPal is very convenient, not to mention secure.
Have y’all thought about branching out and doing events? I dunno, maybe a Skype pole jam with Veena herself? For a fee, of course. It might appeal to those who can’t really commit to the lessons.

I definitely leave mine up. And I always forget that others may not be so used to seeing it. So when we had some cleaning ladies come out to help us get the house ready for a family visit, they had a blaaast. “Oh my word! Is that a pole????” It was so cute. She even did a little twirly dance around the pole. Honestly, if you don’t act like it’s a big deal, other people won’t act like it’s a big deal. Just treat it like another piece of furniture.

Cool! Do y’all have a website or anything?

MemberJanuary 2, 2014 at 5:57 pm in reply to: Tricks on X-Stages/Stand Alone Platinum StagesI had an X-stage lite and it was fantastic! It’s a beast to move because it’s so heavy, but as long as you just leave it up, it shouldn’t be a problem. The carrying case is worthless. Mine fell apart the first time I tried to use it.
As for tricks, I could do anything on it without any fear that it would tip. It does have a very slight wobble that you totally don’t even notice. That’s to be expected with any stand-alone type pole, though.
Note: the stage itself takes up room wherever you decide to put it. It was awkward enough in our living room that I switched it out for a regular X-Pert.

I just got some super cute rompers on yandy.com. You have to search under “Rave,” believe it or not. It’s a bit overwhelming cuz they have SO much stuff, but so far, both rompers are great quality and fit nicely.

In fact, I can guarantee she hasn’t. One of my more “prim and proper” friends finally came with me to a pole class and she was amazed at the strength required for some of these moves. She’s now a pole convert for life.

It’s still for sale, ladies! Just sitting in the garage collecting dust. Sorry, I didn’t see your message, MzVelvet. Gilt, if you’re interested, let me know!

He was so nice. And I have the peace of mind that the adapter really and truly is screwed into the ceiling properly. He even went out of his way to get me better screws at the hardware store down the road because he didn’t like the ones that came with it. He said the ones that came with the adapter were too thin and too short, and that most of the screw would be in the drywall instead of the wood.
We liked him so much, we’ve booked him to renovate our bathroom, too!

So I just placed my order for my brand spakin' new and shiny X-Pole, 45mm, Titanium Gold, and a vaulted ceiling adapter. Yay! So excited for it to get here. Thanks for all your input!

I'm sold on it. But I need a vaulted ceiling adapter, and I didn't see one on the page you linked to. Do I just need to buy that directly from Li'l Mynx? It would be nice to get it all in one order and shipment. When I'm measuring my floor to ceiling height, do I need to do anything different for the vaulted one? Like subtract an inch or two?

I can have a pole in any color I like? MIND. BLOWN.
Does it drastically change the grip on the pole? If it's a less grippy pole, will this make it grippier, more slippery, no effect at all? Is this better for brass and stainless steel rather than chrome or TG?
So many possibilities!!!!!
