65inches ok for Kids
75-110inches ok for adultsThe heavier the adult the better it is for thick, My silks are 108 inches wide and I love the grip and how well they flow. They also make great hammocks which i sell as well https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif I hope this helps. Anymore questions i’m more than happy to give assistance.

I personally sell a nylon tricot based fabric that works very well, it is the recommended fabric amongst the aerial community. You can see my site at http://www.aerialempowerment.com I haven’t had any complaints with my products, i’ve sold silks and other aerial accessories to many pole dancers around including Becca Butcher, etc. If you have anymore questions don’t hesitate to ask

I’ve seen some on ebay that were great looking. I mostly just wrote the article so that prospective buyers have a good idea what to look for, its definitely good to ask questions. I think the customer has the right to know anything about any product they are seeking, the more specific the info the better. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
I’m glad to hear that you had a good experience, I would hate to hear of anyone getting hurt.

It really depends on your skin type but I find that I can grip great with curel lotion as well.
I also made an AMAZING grip aid and pole cleaner that I sell on my website if anyone is interested in having a super duper spidermonkey grip!
http://aerialempowerment.com/store.html
I originally created this spray for use on silks but I got the notion to try it on the pole one day and it works wonders. Doesn’t matter if you have sweaty hands, or dry hands, whatever your skin type this spray WORKS to aid gripping the pole better than you ever have before. Ships anywhere in the USA

I used to have problems gripping, and then I accidentally invented the best pole solution ever after silk dancing…
For those of you who have tried my pole spray and know what i’m talking about and have begged me for it, I now sell it on my website
http://aerialempowerment.com/store.html
Find it below the trapeze when scrolling down.
This is the most amazing grip enhancer I have come across. I originally created this spray for use on silks but I got the notion to try it on the pole one day and it works wonders. Doesn’t matter if you have sweaty hands, or dry hands, whatever your skin type this spray is guaranteed to aid gripping the pole better than you ever have before. It not only helps grip but it also cleans the pole as well. Ships anywhere in the USA

Hey Sage, I am in Salt Lake City as well, you should come to club habits 3900 S 800 E on a tuesday night from 9-11pm its ladies pole night and they have three 15ft tall spinning poles. The girls there are all very supportive, I was one of the instructors there until they laid me off due to a budget crisis in the club, but its way fun and I still go as often as I can. The girls are all very supportive, ITS FREE! So thats nice, just come in and pole dance. Studio Soiree is great, i’ve trained with them and still hang out there a lot. I work with studio blue now though. But welcome welcome. Hope to see you at habits sometime, maybe tonight? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Any difficulty going from 50mm to smaller poles??I find personally that it is easier to go from a thicker grip to a thinner grip rather than the other way around. I did however have a more difficult time gripping with my legs on a thinner pole but it didn’t take long to adjust at all https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

You may be a pole dancer if you intend to go clothes shopping for work or personal and end up searching for that perfect top or shorts to pole dance in instead of regular clothes.

Here is the professional copy (though low quality) perspective of my routine. Includes the blooper and the results at the end.

Thank you. Yes I choreographed the whole thing myself. It took over three months to work out the tweaks but i was so nervous performing it that I forgot a few spins but it still turned out. I had to remember to slow down because I would tend to speed up infront of an audience. I train with the woman who won first place in the advance division, Zoraya Judd. She didn’t help me with my routine but I showed it to her before the competition and she gave me a lot of encouragement and inspiration and told me that her and I were going to be the winners. I was like "Yeah right, you’ll win but not me because I am the thickest girl in my division" but she was right. We both won lol.
Her winning routine is here

haha great way to break the ice! Truth is, we are all human beings with thats right… bum holes that seep noxious gas! Especially while doing strenuous exercise… haha
I have it worse with Jumping jacks, I swear whenever my feet touch the floor you hear a sort of beeping from my ass. Horrible…. if only you could put a cork in it… but thats what the loud sound systems are for https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_tongue.gif

Thank you, yes it was my first. I felt like I was going to puke the whole day before the performance and even once it was over my stomach was in knots. lol but it was so worth it.
