I ordered an extension from their website per what the xpole rep told me to order when I called. I have the xstage lite with a 40mm pole and use mine indoors. I ordered my xstage then on the xpoleus.com website under the shop tab, click 2014-16 cpert/sport ext. I ordered the 1000mm extension for my ceiling height of 8.5 feet. The extension is your B pole and you will just attach it to the A pole on the stage.

In addition to the flexibility lessons here and the Fit and Bendy DVDs, I recommend the Valentino Brother’s Flexibility series DVDs. The ones I have are not the best quality production wise but the content is really good.

You may also want to contact the studio and inquire about hem filing a claim with their insurance since it was a injury that occurred during their instruction.

The older xpoles were not xperts. They didn’t have the x-joints that xperts have so taking apart the A and B poles could prove almost impossible. There were many times my husband and I struggled to separate them. After much struggling, I was eventually able to get mine apart prior to selling my original 50mm. As far as parts, xpole may be able to help you. I know they do not have parts listed on their website but if you call them and ask they may have a base available. Couldn’t hurt to try. The original xpoles were put together from the top and the xpert models are advanced from the bottom of the pole. Not sure how the pole can be stuck on spin as the threading is at the top. It’s been awhile since I’ve had my original so I can’t quite remember what was all going on with the base.

I just wrote a blog about being shamed by a long time friend this morning. I was so fired up over this. http://poleharmony.blogspot.com/2016/03/rape-culture-and-pole-fitness.html

Sorry late reply…just saw this. I got my a-frame from the xpole US website. I think I was one of the lucky ones who placed an order at the right time.

Try looking into local gyms, dance studios, or yoga studios to find a space you can rent to operate out of. I did this when I first started out and eventually took over the space when the business I was subleasing from had to close. I started out with a very low overhead and was able to build my clientele. I had a lot of Yoga studios that were interested but I was focused on a specific location and the one yoga studio I was interested in had carpet flooring.

I know from experience that home owners insurance will not cover for teaching pole fitness within the home.

I couldn’t upload via my phone anymore so I was uploading videos to my laptop then creating a movie through imovie and uploading the imovie. It was a lot of work just to upload a video.

Amelia Clewett The A Frame comes with two brackets you clip your carabiner to. If you want the hoop to spin, you would use 2 carabiners and a swivel which you would buy separately.
