I'm a nurse and for the longest time it was never an issue. I got a new job working for a religious institution and suddenly it became an issue. I deleted my youtube because of it. I never thought I'd be one of those people working at a job where it was a problem that I pole danced for my gym activities. My boss was really open with me and told me she personally did not think it was a problem but she wasn't so sure how others in the company would feel and wanted me to know that my youtube channel link was emailed to her by an administrator. How they found it is beyond me and she said she had no idea where they came across it. The whole ordeal just turned out to be creepy and I decided it was in my best interest to eradicate my channel's existence.

Every time I first check SV it says in the corner inbox (2). I keep checking and I don't have any new messages.

#1, #3, & #4 are all chrome. I may have buyers for all but the Lil Mynx at this point. The Lil Mynx is a black powder coated pole that ranges from 8′ to 9′ ceilings.

I never use them anymore. I'm keeping my 45mm though. It's the only one I use when I do pole.

I do a form of stretching in my warm ups which is dynamic stretching. I use it as a limbering or movement rehearsal. If any stretches are held and appear static, it is only for 5 seconds at the most. I save all my flexibility work for post-work outs. This is where I'm able to achieve greater results in my stretching because my muscles are already warmed up and more pliable. Stretching in this phase does not include over-stretching/straining. You should never feel pain during these stretches, it should be just to a point of feeling tension. When I refer to stretching as preventing injuries, I'm referring to using stretching to detox specific muscles that were used more during a workout. This prevents my muscles from getting tight and sore the next day. That's just my personal experience with stretching and flexibility work for the pole.

I get mine from sallys Euronext clip in 18" dark brown. Works good for me.

Contortion creeps me out- I like pretty lines but there's a fine line between beautiful flexibility and OMG WTH are you doing I hope you don't break! And any crotch shots that are point blank WHAM here's my goods! Not a fan of those moves. And what's with all the butt floss lately? My facebook page is full of pole related butt floss pics. I don't mind peek-a-boo cheeks but when did it become the trend to thong it up? Literally. Maybe I'm just getting old, but I prefer to dress modestly on the pole compared to what I've been seeing lately.

Have you discussed this with your doctor? I think you should to your doctor about this as it is limiting your ability for activities. Your doctor will be able to recommend the appropriate treatment to prevent injury.

Also keep in mind that some people are genetically more prone to flexibility than others. Every body is different- literally.

I do believe Infinity Aerial offers pole, silks, and aerial hoop. They are located in Columbus, OH.
