I recently was able to try both out at expo and while the pole sleeve was fun to play on, I would personally see it more as a special occasion type of pole to play on or to work on specific tricks. The SV powder coat was great for a multitude of different tricks and spins. For that reason I would say that the SV pole would be a better investment. Also the pole sleeve increases the diameter of your pole quite a bit.

I actually just wrote a blog about deciding if poling at home is right for you. Take a read through it, I hope it helps ๐

MemberSeptember 1, 2013 at 7:17 pm in reply to: which Pole Expo workshops are you interested in?I acutally spent last night trying on all my dresses to figure out what to bring for the parties and cocktail nights. Bonus was that I think all my squats and gym time have been paying off, my legs were looking hot in some of them!
I'm getting excited to meet all of you guys though!!!

I have the pole physics lotion and i love. Cold winters here make for super dry skin and being bale to moisturize without losing grip is awesome. I also really love the smell of the lotion so that is a major plus. But Thanks for the breakdown of the ingredients Chem, It's always nice to know why it works and that there are cheaper versions out there.
