First let me say how jealous I am of so many of you! More than that, though, I am utterly inspired!

I have been a professional freelance photographer for the past 3 years. I am also a caregiver. My dad had a massive stroke over a year ago and lost his home while he was in the hospital (which happened to be my home at the time as well). It was my duty to make sure he didn't end up in a nursing home. This gave me a different perspective on life and made me realize my stength. It also introduced me to the health care field, which I never would have thought I'd be interested in. A little over a year ago I was homeless, but I struggled to my feet and my dad is much better now and lives with me in a good home. I now have my CNA certification and am going towards a nursing degree. I am truly fascinated by the human body and I hope to get into med school one day, even if I am 35 before I will ever have Dr. in front of my name! Knowing that so many of you are in the medical field gives me so much motivation! I am a an ameteur poler, and at 23 I already feel like my life is running away from me! I sometime's question if I should dedicate the time for this hobby. It's nice to know that you all can make time for this and still be so successful! This really made my day!

thanks for the tips guys!  I'll keep working on that pole sit, and I do feel like the bruises will decrease with time.  I'll give that arnica gel a try..  I hope to be able to start Veena's lessons this weekend!
