When I finally got my knee hold I was so excited. It is an impressive move! I did my knee hold for my instructor photoshoot & when ladies see that picture on our studio wall they always ask is it photoshopped. No! That’s all me & my pole!

Floor work
Lose 10lbs by chistmas & 10 more by our next showcase! -
I’m also a nurse & I talk about my love for pole fitness all the time with my coworkers (& doctors). I do post pics on Facebook & of course they see them. For the most part all my coworkers are curious & amazed by how I do the tricks I do. I have something I’m passionate about & I’m going to share with everybody :).

My husband and I just talked about this. I’ve toned up some but really haven’t lost a lot of weight (poor eating habits) and he likes the way I look. I would love to lose about 40-50lbs and he has been very supportive of my goal. His opinion does matter, but at the same time it’s my body and I want to be healthy & fit (& little curvy!)

After spending all week practicing my butterfly I finally got it…3 times in a row! Thanks for all the advice. I will post a pic as soon as my instructor sends it.

Thanks everybody for the advice. I will most definitely use it! CapFeb I did find myself leaning to one side of the pole. Organic Angel I do think I would be more comfortable with my strong arm up top but I'm going to have to practice inverting on my weaker side :). Polegirl I do remember pushing my shoulders out further than my hips. How you explained it made so much sense! I'll let you all know how my butterfly training goes!

Thanks Veena. I will try to the basic butterfly so maybe I can get the feel of it first then work my way to the butterfly.

I really think its fear! I’m going to practice it Saturday & if I can’t get it I’ll post a recording.

Thanks! When I was practicing I just loved it. I just went into my own world. I did post the video of my last practice. I can't wait for tomorrow!

Physical:
1. I love my smile (I smile all the time).
2. I love my butt
3. I love strong, sexy legs
Pole:
1. I love my cross ankle release (my favorite move since the beginning)
2. I love how dedicated I am to being a better pole dancer. Practice makes perfect.
3. I love how my body flows with music and I choreograph routines.

I'm a nurse that works full time nights and on my days off I have little energy and I really just want to sleep. But I've decided that I'm going to have to push myself to pole more if I want to grow. I was poling once or twice a week, but now I've increased it to 4. I just have to make time to do what I love!
