Lil’ Mynx is still alive and well. 🙂
The problem with the Veena Lil’ Mynx was color consistency among batches.
We still offer custom colors, including the two stage powder coating. As always, we have our standard powder coated poles as well, available in black, red and pink. If you would like to discuss a custom color please email me at lizz@lilmynx.com.

Lil’ Mynx offers stainless steel as well as powder-coated finish.

Charley, that is a great post with a lot of helpful information for those out there beginning on their journey with pole and fabric.
I do want to clear up some confusion. Lil’ Mynx does not claim that Pole Aria can only be used on our product. As our site states, Pole-Aria was developed on the Lil’ Mynx line of removable dance poles. While it can also be used on other brands of poles, Pole Aria should not be used on a free standing pole/stage or any friction only mounted poles.
We firmly believe that a pole must have a bolted in mount to attach silks to as the load amount applied using any of these attachments is much greater than normal pole moves. So any pole that utilizes a bolted mount is fine to use with Pole Aria.

With Pole Aria, you have the option of purchasing with or without fabric. The fabric length is 22 feet for the 10′ pole option and 26 feet for the 12′ pole option. This provides enough fabric to tie a knot in the bottom to make a low lying hammock. The width of the fabric is 60″. Pole Aria should only be used with poles utilizing a fixed mount. The clamp is machined 6061 aluminum with smooth edges.

The little rubber feet should always be on the base whether using on carpeted or non-carpeted flooring.

Oakmama, the mount should not be coming loose on spin mode. A couple of things to check… Never adjust the pole while it is seated on the mount. All height adjustments should be made before you put the pole up. Second, are you sure that the hole for the screw was drilled deep enough? The mount itself should never turn. It should be tight against the ceiling. We always want you to be happy with your purchase. It is always best to give us a call with any problems so we can resolve any issues in a timely manner.

The comparable pole on our site is the Lil’ Mynx Rotator Colors. It is available in black, red, or pink.

The liquid graphite should be sprayed between the main tube and the adjustment tube.

If the pin is too hard or too easy to push/pull you can adjust the tension on the pin with the small screw in the base that faces the pin. This is the spring plunger that makes it click. If you want less tension, turn the screw 1/8 of a turn counter clockwise and check. If you want more tension, turn the screw 1/8 of a turn clockwise and check. And always feel free to call (559-346-1900) or email (lizz@lilmynx.com) me for the quickest trouble shooting.

Not sure about Foxy Kleen. This is the first I have heard of it. I can look into it.
Clorox Green Works sounds like a good alternative to Windex.
Soap and water is always okay. As for diluting, you always run the risk of changing the surface if you don't dilute enough.

Thank you for your order earlier today, Korinne!
The Lil' Mynx Pro series function the same as our one-piece Lil' Mynx (Originals and Rotators). However, the main body of the Pro Series LM poles break down into 2 or 3 pieces for ease of storage and transport. They also come with the standard bolt-in mount as well as the friction mount. Here is a link with important information about Lil' Mynx poles. http://www.lilmynx.com/index.php/dance-poles-info
I am always available to answer your emails at mailto:lizz@lilmynx.com

Just want to clarify something…. Straight rubbing alcohol will dull and change the finish of the powder coated poles over time. We recommend using Windex or other window cleaners as the amount of alcohol is minimal.

WD-40 is petroleum based and will have a negative effect on the polycarbonate parts at the rotator base. Liquid graphite, or any water based lubricate, is recommended.
