My first thought was Sexy Flexy, is it this one? http://www.triagedesign.co.uk/wikipole/index.php5?title=Sexy_Flexy

Powerballs are amazing, they work wonders for weak wrists

I can’t believe no ones posted this, officially the best poler in the world

Starting to spin on the "wrong" side certainly feels like being at your very first pole lesson. It’s practice that does it in the end. Keep trying and they will improve.

Already told you this via email, but I love the interviewing idea! It really makes your site stand out from the rest

Hehe, don’t worry about it, I think I pimped it on another thread on here. It’s nice to see that my site is being found to be useful https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Ah, so cross knee release then. Cheers for the clarification
I was thinking of "the knees" and the non inverted version of a tammy, and I think your thigh hold is my hip hold, more stuff to add to wikipole hehe

The one on the first vid I don’t particularly like as it’s not the neatest of moves. I prefer the version Riley does at 25 secs on this vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a2bMrMrAX1c&feature=channel_page
She’s been tryin to teach me how to do this one, apparently the top hand isn’t fully gripped, it’s more there to guide and push against the pole on the way over
-
I’m still confused on what the move is…
I thought it was the knee hold but the talk of a thigh hold has confused me as the knee hold and thigh hold I’m thinking of aren’t alike

People say ideally you should be able to walk round the pole both arms outstretched and not hit anything. Mine is nowhere near that, I’ve got room on one side and hardly any space on the opposite side. I find it restricting and have to do moves in certain orientations and certain spins are a no no – like the carousel, but I get on more or less ok. But I go to classes too so I get to play on a pole not as hampered as mine
-
You know, I actually do feel bad about this coz my pole doesn’t have a name and I keep thinking I should name him but nothing ever comes to me
-
My ceiling is similar, I got my Dad to drill a large piece of wood up there into the joists, so no trouble at all.
From what I’ve heard the pole on artex should be fine, but it may cause bits of artex to flake off
