At my studio i have 2inch(thick) Stainless Steel and Brass poles by platinum stages and couldnt be happier. I never tried a brass pole b4 i got these, and its amazing. I dont have to use any grip aids with it.

I think stages tip over depending on how agressive people are with them. I was at California Pole Dance Championship last night, and Timber Brown lifted the X-stage lite multiple times during his performance. He is very agressive on the pole. Im sure the video will be out on youtube any minute now, so you can see what im talking about.
On a side note, everyone really should watch all the videos from CPDC, because the competition was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!

I am using the 2inch (thicker pole). I dont know about the skinnier one.
The bottom of the stage has a lil rubber stopper, so mine hasnt moved, and its not even on a completely flat surface.
I really dont know about any of the older models, but i really like the ez connect model. When i get my extension i will do another video and do some spins on it. Im 5'4, 135lbs.

I have never tipped it over.
I just found out that i can get a 2 foot extension for this pole, so i am gonna try to get it this week, and post another video if i can.

Its totally normal. Just be careful. I have learned when to call it quits, cuz i almost got hurt.

Just filmed a video tonight using my MiPole light. I love it

I have trouble with this myself, and i am a certified instructor. I have no problem doing shoulder mounts, or twisted grip lift, but for some reason the regular chopper invert just never looks right. Its really uncomfortable to me, and i feel like my boobs get in the way, but i will keep working on it. I have alot of scar tissue in my upper back, and it gets so aggravated with this invert.
Make sure you look back when you do it though. That really helps.

BOOOO! Im annoyed. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif I dont wanna wait another month. Ive been looking forward to getting them…i really think they are gonna be awesome!

I just used my new mipole led lights and i like it alot. Its like my own personal spotlight. It was super easy to put up, and i tugged on it alot, and shook the pole, and it didnt budge, so it seems pretty secure.

Cool outdoor video! I was playing outside with mine for the first time on saturday, and it was really fun. I get really hot and sweaty, but it was a lil chilly outside, so it was just right for me. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

This just came out, so you might need to call and ask.

Yea i really really like it. Ive always been a lil scared on free standing poles, but this actually felt really secure!!

I dont know anything about the brass xpoles, but i do love my brass platinum stages pole. I had never tried one until a couple months ago, but i love it alot. I can hold so many static poses now.
