    Foxy and Azriel
A few of the major benefits I’ve gotten from ballet are strong leg muscles, improved core strength, added grace and improved posture. One of the most basic things I was taught is that before you even begin to choreograph, listen to the music, fantasize and find ways to fill it so that every second is spent dancing and there is no stand-still. And something I look forward to sharing is how to better control your movements so that it can all look as effortlessly executed like how Veena does it https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_geek.gif

I hope it didn’t come off as disrespectful to anyone, esp Veena. I’m not trying to plug a personal business, just offering to share a bit of knowledge at no cost. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_redface.gif

First off, it isn’t a "stripper pole" it’s a dance pole. It has been legally deemed as a form of art. Stop stereotyping people because you’ve been taught to believe that everything different is wrong. Or should I start to count how many of you "love Jesus" but you go to the club on the weekend? Or "Love da lawd" but you’re having premarital sex? I don’t point fingers and we can’t send each other to hell. But for those of you who haven’t cracked your bible lately gossip is a sin. Bearing false witness against your neighbor. Judge not lest ye be judged yourself. And yes we’ve all heard that the day of reckoning is coming and you’ll have to answer for your actions. YOUR actions. This man is neither gay nor ignorant but apparently you all must be.

My 2 cents to back you up JungleCat https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

You have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of and on a side note if women are getting aroused by your performance, then that’s a battle they need to work out on their own. It’s called self-control. You can’t make them behave and you certainly can’t send anyone else to hell. I know…I’ve tried https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_twisted.gif

a spinning pole means that the pole will rotate 360 degrees repeatedly
a static pole means the pole will stay still

It seems like a nice pole, but I only have 3 complaints.
    1. The fact that it requires the ceiling plate to be installed (which doesn’t coincide with rental property lease agreements)
    2. No specification as to whether or not it’s both a spinning and a static pole.
    3. It doesn’t suggest the diameter of the pole (50mm, 45mm)
If those don’t matter to you, then I think it’s a pretty good deal. The fitness DVDs are a definite plus and the option to do monthly payments is a real mind boggler. No one else does that. My interest is peaked. I’ve heard of the program before, but I never really looked into it deeply.

    Question:
How do you guys feel about the material the pole is made out of (Quality Polished Aluminum)? Is this going to turn the pole into another Peekaboo type of disaster?

The fireman spin, how to climb, and how to sit on the pole.

I’m always thinking of things to dance to now, but I’ve always done that. Every once in a while I’ll do a quick invert and hold a handstand to stretch my spine (which is a definite bonus since I have scoliosis). I’ve incorporated the pole into my workout routine more by using it to do squats, pole lifts, pole push-ups (inverted push-ups) and using it as a barre for tendu, degaje, battements, and perfecting my arabesque and de ponche. If I ever learn the chinese flag, street poles are going to be in trouble https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif

After seeing all your vids, I totally have to disagree, I’ve been at it for 9 months now and I have got to be the most poletarded person I know. Granted I am working on a p.o.s. but I’m working on getting an X-Pole before I cut something I’ll miss off while attempting to dance. *sigh* But cheer up, you’ve definitely one upped me at many things so if you feel bad because you cant get something you can always say at least I’m not Jayfo.
