It comes with 3 bands, so that you get different resistances for your pull ups…but then you can link two of them together and they are perfect for splits training. I’m 6’2 and not really flexible, and it does give a good level of resistance. If needed, you could always put in another knot for additional resistance. I bought mine from Dick’s Sporting Goods, but here is a link. Good luck! 🙂

I was that way with my invert. I kept having a spotter push my butt up the rest of the way. But then one day, I just did it! It came out of the no-where!!! It really helped to have a friend to practice with so that we can help/spot each other in moves and make sure that we practice as much as possible. You’ll get there!!! Find the enjoyment in the journey! 🙂 Good luck!

I will agree with everyone on Pantera. By far, best workshops! However, I will say that I have never regretted taking a workshop. If financially you can do afford it, do them all! You will always learn at least one thing and just have fun! You’re there to learn. Most of the time, I’m the lowest student at these workshops, but damn it, I’m enjoying the ride!
I also want to share some advice I got from my favorite instructor…go to workshops that are a little over your level. You will push yourself and learn more that way. I’ve had to sit out the last 15 minutes, but I learned so much for the future!
Also, I would suggest politely asking the instructors if you can video tape them with your phone for personal use, but don’t be offended if they don’t allow it. This is their living after all. I’ve forgotten a lot of things from my workshops and wish I had little videos to remind myself. Oh, and don’t forget pen and paper to write notes and have money in case you want to buy their clothes/swag. Have fun and enjoy yourself, no matter what!!!

Welcome to Texas!!! I cannot say much to the Austin area, since I pole in San Antonio at Soft Sensuous Moves. It’s a little far away, but I would recommend at least checking out the classes at softsensuousmoves.com. And since you are in the area, I would highly recommend going to the Capital of Texas Aerial Championship and Miss Texas Pole Star Competition. Good luck and welcome to the area!

When I heard Two Against One-Jack White, I knew someday I would want to do doubles to this song. Also, I find duets to be inspirational. Hope this helps. 🙂
