I’ll be going! Went a couple years ago and was really sad I couldn’t make it last year. I’m doing 5 workshops total and staying extra days. Vegas is my home away from home due to my ex being stationed out there, so I’ll be staying a little longer to see friends and train at the local studios. Always looking for other “stuff” to do outside of the workshops! I enjoyed the free “workshops” last time but glad I was able to book the paid ones this year.
If anyone has suggestions of fun stuff to do, let’s hear it! Some friends and I talked about an escape room last year, I planned to go out to the Grand Canyon one day, already saw the Hoover dam, plan to see another cirque show or two and check out the garden at MGM. Making a list! Any suggestions are welcome!!

I buy things like dog food online and most large ticket purchases companies offer free shipping, but alas… Anyone found a way to bypass shipping? Retailers don’t exactly stock these and they’re still responsible for shipping. Only thing I can think of is buying at expo and driving it home, but that’s too far away as I want to get it to practice for competitions in a couple months. Anyone, ideas?

My furbaby may never walk again (completely torn ACL)Care credit – my mom maxed out my card on an emergency for her dog a while back and because she has only been able to pay enough on it to keep it from going over the limit (coupled w my student loans causing a highly problematic income to debt ratio) they won’t extend my credit limit. 🙁
Thank you for all the kind words! We were warned about there being another tear down the line bc of the imbalance 🙁 being a hound AND lab he’s apparently predisposed to joint problems and hip displaysia. Found that out in September when it all began :/ thank you for sharing your story. I’m so sorry your baby had to experience this too :'( having one of your kiddos hurt and being unable to do anything about it is the worst feeling in the world.

Currently nursing a torn adductor myself. I (quite literally) feel your pain. Avoid using it as much as possible (duh). I went to a physical therapist who does sports medicine massage and he was ridiculously helpful. Moved me around, broke up some scar tissue that was forming (OWW), Put those bulbs on the site where the heat creates a suction and pulls your skin (and blood) into the bulb, and applied some Chinese tincture anti inflammatory which freakin rocked. I would strongly suggest seeing a physical therapist. It’s truly worth the money if this is your career—not to mention your health and passion. I’m in the EXACT same boat. It was well worth the investment. Also, REGULAR icing. This is what I did for about a week or two
Ice on 7min
Let it Warm up naturally to ambient temp
I’ve on 7 min
Let it warm up again
Soak in a hot Epsom salt back for 7-10min and REST (did this right before bed)
It really helped. I’m still healing but I can pole and I’m starting to gain more mobility as I break up the scar tissue (again, OWW)
Rule of thumb, if movement hurts… Don’t. Get creative and find a way around it. Very challenging sometimes. Good vibes for quick healing!! -

Sliding into elbow stands from a prone position WRECKS my nail polish and the tip front of my heels. Be sure to update us on how well it keeps for you!
