Actually…I read that it happened to quite a few people with long hair…One even had her bf grab a pair of scissors to cut off Thr part that was stuck!
I have really long hair…and I’ve only learned on spinny. I guess I’ll have to remember to put it up in a bun before I do any serious inversion!

FONJI!!!!
I saw Charley FB where she was doing this move…sooooo awesome!!!

Ok, this is not pole move or training…rather, videos to show “how to spot” or “how spotter help poler to break a fall”
I realized it’s always exciting to learn pole moves and such…but when I want to ask my bf to help me spot, he has no clue where to begin!!
And to tell you the truth, other then saying “You got me right?? You sure?? Don’t let me break my neck or crack my head…You sure you got me now???” I have no idea what to tell him…LOL

Good news!! The building inspector said there's no major structual damage to my apartment so as soon as the power is back up, we can move back in! Yeah!!
As to my cars…one of the cars is already totaled. I actually gave the insurnace my title today and they cut me a check…I guess I'll be using those money to pay for the deductible for my other car is it's fixable (currently t's 50/50…on the verge of totaled). My bf's Mustang is still an unknown.
Sooo…as soon as I can move back to my apartment, I can install my 45mm XPole!! Yeah! ^_^
@ horsecrazy – I went to New Orleans after Katrina, it was very creepy. Currently my apartment complex looks just as ominous…scary. But, there was no major injury…so, thanks God!
@ tarah – I actually did felt "something" was coming. I'd been putting off on packing a survival kit for years…then a couple of weeks ago I felt something like a hunch…I just NEED to get my act together and prep for something. God was definitely watching over us and I'm very thankful!! ^_^
THANK YOU EVERYONE!! As soon as I have my pole up (and get some mirrors) I'll post some practice videos here on Veena!! ^_^

1) Combo tutorials!!
2) It'll be cool if at the end of each lessons (like the intermediate/advance ones) show you how to dismount/fall safely if you happen to lose your grip.

I just lost all my cars and my apartment to 2 stupid tornadoes…but I know things will get better…Your husband need your support so you have to be strong!! Us Veeners will be here with you all the way!!

Thanks Ladies for your word of support!! It really means a lot to me…Some of my friends and relative thinks this is no-big-deal and that insurance will covers for everything…They have no idea how much trouble we're going thru right now…
We went back to my apartment to grab a few things earlier and the apartment complex looks very very creepy. There are so many cops, military guys and Humvees around (to prevent looters I guess)…but the complex looks very dead. All the trees, roof tops, walls, glasses and car parts are still on the ground…it was pitch black and still no power.
The apartment management only put us in a hotel until Monday morning so we still have no idea where we are going to stay after that. Fortunately, with the renter insurance, we will probably find another hotel/motel in this area and just keeping my finger cross…I just hope everything will be settle down before the insurance limit runs out.
Thank you again for your support!!

Thanks Ladies for the response! I'll try the Moon Cup again in a couple of weeks when I get my period.
I read about Instead Cup too, however, I read that it's harder to remove then menstrual cups. Also, they are not reusable like the menstrual cups. I figure if I'm traveling (or, touch-wood, a run-for-your-lives disaster event) it'll be easier to use the reusable menstrual cup then disposable cups (or pads/tampons…)
I can't believe I'm actually looking forward to my period now just so I can try my cup! LOL

I NEED HELP!!
Ok…I got my Moon Cup yesterday. I was really excited and I did a dry run in the shower…I got some questions:
1) I got the cup in, but not sure if it was right since the first time I thought it was pop in, then I realize it can go in further…and it did.
I read on the website that you can "twist" the cup by the stem to make sure its in place. I twist the stem…but the cup won't "swirl" around…more like just stuck there. Am I doing it right??
2) I have a hard time taking it out! Again, I read that you're supposed to push the cup in to release the suction then pull it out. I pushed the cup and I didn't hear any "release of suction"…So I just end up pulling the cup out by the stem. It was not comfortable =/ Not painful, but just uncomfortable (out w/ a "pop")…
How do you take it out??
3) The stem on the Moon Cup was too long…I know you can trim it, but I'm afraid if I cut it w/ a scissor it will still have the share edge rim. How do you trim it so the end of the stem won't feel "scratchy"??
I can reeeeally use some help here!! ~>_<~

Oh…I"m so glad I read this post. I didn't plan on checking the pole prior to every workout. LOL
Ok…when you guys say the pole slipped…like how badly? Just move a couple of inches or the entire pole fell to the floor???
