after practicing for awhile my pole is super hot where my hand grip is from spins, without a hairdryer. in the beginning of my practices the pole is too cold to climb yet, so I just spin and do transitions til I am warmed up, and usually the friction from my body warms my pole up too, so I can climb and do pole sits and inversions

Make sure you and the pole are both warmed up. Cold poles and cold bodies arent very grippy!

When I was 11 and started playing Everquest 1 I made my first wood elf druid, I didnt know what to name her, then I sounded out ‘Mel…..ea….ni…a’ tada! literally just made it up like that (Mel-lay-nee-uh). Im the only meleania ive come across to date, and if you find someone with that name on another site, chances are its me. my real name is Aubree though =D

I usually lay it on the floor, and then step on the rods with shoes on to get them apart.

38, 45, and 50mm is the size of circumference of the pole. 50mm is the most common, its easiest for grip on the legs, the smaller ones are easier to grip with the hands, but hurt the legs way more since the pole is smaller the pressure is more concentrated. The difference between a chrome and a titanium gold pole is grip ive heard, and color, ive never tried TG, but I use chrome and would recommend it. I have a chrome 50mm xpole.

Today I had an almost accident, I practicing combos for the first time ever and when i came out of scorpio to do an inverted crucifix I was like ooh I have enough room to caterpillar, as I was coming around to face the pole my dog was RIGHT in my FACE! I screamed! poor little guy, he was like *ears back* *pause* *wag*wag*wag* im soo lucky I didnt fall, if I had I would of probably broken my desk, legs, and my dog lol. hes only 5lbs! Now I know to shut my door during pole practices lol

my hips do this too randomly, i havnt noticed a pattern yet. the sound makes me cringe but it doesnt hurt
-
Wow, do you usually get lots of injuries? Hope not! If you dont I think its safe to assume youve met your injury quota for the next 10 years! Theres always a silver lining, even though its hard to see sometimes, like you mentioned about your finger keeping your from going back to everything else too soon.
