*warning* I left that site up all day so I could finish reading all the comments, and I only go to a specific few sites, and I got a virus on my computer. Since that is the only site ive been to lately that I dont usually go to I believe it was that site that was the culprit. Maybe I wouldnt of gotten it if I hadnt left it open all day, who knows. But im just warning you guys.

then whats the waiver for? I thought that was the purpose https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif

People like that are pointless to argue with, because even if you make a very elaborate well written bullet proof argument they cant possibly logically disagree with, they will just say you have been brainwashed to think that way. I like the ‘Closed minds should have closed mouths’ comment too haha

Well first of all you should print out a pole waiver for her to sign so she cant sue you if she injures herself, if she only has $20 to her name every month she might be desperate enough to if she has high medical bills from injuring herself on your pole and blames it on you. Im not saying she WOULD but desperate people do desperate things, especially if they have 2 little mouths to feed. Second, maybe you should use your pole time with her to work on your non dominant side skills if you are slightly behind on that side, I know I am. Third, have you shown her SV? I think you said you sold her your lil mynx so you can buy an xpert in a blog. maybe she can watch the lessons in order and try to figure stuff out herself. Especially show her some of the threads about how people have hurt themselves by jumping into an invert, and the ‘Am I Ready for an Inversion?’ thread. Maybe you can buy her a crash mat as an early xmas present haha
*oh yea just checked, that was pennygirl, whups

Well unfortunately alot of people still think pole dancing = stripping, of which they think stripper = easy https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif Sometimes I get how bad females can be, most of my friends are guys for this reason. (really, untying your boots chem? thats a safety hazard!) I am so glad I have a community of pole dancing women who arent cut throat witches like the rest of females today! I dont understand why they have to bring others down rather than uplift themselves.

I am gonna post a video of me doing pole tricks from a year ago, just to show the difference. when i get around to it haha -
yup im completely self taught too. I take a beginner pole class lately just to meet other pole dancers in the area as well. The only downside is that if you dont have a boyfriend thats willing to spot you some moves you shouldnt try on your own due to safety

Go see a doctor that specializes in sports injuries and get physical therapy. Shoulder muscle injuries aren’t ones to mess around with!

Yay! Mine is up, the song is so funny! Its my first challenge too yaaaay

i would come into an elbow stand from being inverted on the pole, that way I could slowly put more and more weight onto my elbows and quickly let off by gripping the pole with my legs if I needed to. I was really shaky and it felt odd at first, we aren’t supposed to stand on our elbows after all!Now I am doing the same thing with my handstand. It took forever and a spotter before I was comfortable enough to go into an elbow stand from the floor, I was afraid I would miss the pole and flop over and hurt myself on something (didnt exactly have much space)
