oh boy…yup, polesotanitis is super contagious….so far been spotted spinning and doing shoulder mounts (once ya get em ya just can’t stop!!!) in public! As far as i know, poling in public isn’t against bi-law :oP

Turn out should be from the hips. torsion is below the knees (shin bone), but depending on severity, it can screw with the muscle structure not only with your knees, but up to your hips. Ballet positions when i was a kid was impossible. but also touching my toes pre-physio was extreamly painful because of muscle structure.

Hey, I was born with tibial torsion, but in-turned. (toes point towards the opposite ankle…literally)
physio helps ALOT, so do orthopedic insoles in your shoes. , but the knee thing (surgery or not) will always be a bit of an issue. do you have issues with hip turn out as well? -

hey guys!
finally have most of my mobility back, and starting to do some strengthening and conditioning.It’s going to be a while before i can do anything over head :o( but getting good laughs from my girlfriend about “my overly engaged scapula”

Hey PoleTigress, Ever since i put my pole up my daughter has been all over it. She’s not even 2 yet and in the last 4 months hasn’t lost any of the thrill in having dance parties in the pole room. It’s gotten a few funny looks, but Bee (daughter) is happy with running around in circles, trying to do leg hooks, and go around backwards. As long as she’s safe and happy,thats all i care.(Also makes me feel a bit safer when she plays at the park! :oP )
