I’m interested in this too. I tried my first xstage last night. I liked it. It’s soooo heavy!!!! And it was quite stable in spin mode. I’d like to know how the xstage lite is. I’m interested in buying the lite if it’s better.

    Here's something to ponder.. 😛

My hands start to sweat just watching pole videos online! Party of me thinks it's a mind body connection. 😛

Yes, another cat lover here too!!!!

My kitty harasses me when I'm on the pole at home. He tries to bite my feet and pull my hair. It's funny.

    Update.

I notice the vinegar trick works extremely well on my Chrome xPole at home. However, on a powder coated stainless steel pole, not so well. I still get the sweaty hands like I always do. But the vinegar does repell the sweat a bit longer than Dry Hands would. I'm still experimenting. I'd like to know how it would be with a brass pole.

Hmmm interesting.. But it does make sense.

When I was learning the cross ankle release and cross knee release, I used to feel this staticky ripping of my skin feeling… And I always wondered if I was tearing or stretching my skin. I don't get that feeling now that I've mastered those moves..

I've always had stretch marks in between my thighs from when I used to be obese. If pole dancing gave me more, I haven't really noticed.

Isn't there something that pregnant women use to prevent stretch marks? I wonder if those creams will be helpful?

Congrats on getting the aysha! I just got it myself recently too and it does feel scary. I just feel like I am going to slip or something. Infact, learning the aysha was the best pole fail I've ever had!  https://www.studioveena.com/videos/view/4d28e77e-f364-4a21-9919-5fff0ac37250

Good post. I'm still trying to figure this one out too.  🙂

Before I got into pole I was a regular gym goer (3-5 times a week). Now that I pole, I only go to the gym to lift weights about once or twice a week (usually weekends) and then I pole in between.

I find I lack time also. I'll get into these phases where I have no time to workout so I'll do these workouts from http://www.bodyrock.tv. They are short but super intense workouts meant to burn calories and maked you jacked ! They really work.

    Best of luck. 🙂

I have not but I'm still looking for a non-nude group or club where I can pole dance at to some good electronic music. Apparently there are no pole-go dancers here in Southern Ontario..? I haven't found any except for strip clubs but that's not what I'm looking for. I think it would be amazing to perform on the pole at a night club safe above the audience. 🙂

I retired from the adult biz of 5 years back in September. I loved it. I found it very liberating and I miss it. I never did anything that I wasn't comfortable doing. I worked with some wonderful, highly educated and respectful people. It was the best times of my life.

Yes, some women get into biz for the wrong reasons and that's unfortunate…  I've met a few women in the biz for the wrong reasons (deperate for money, low self esteem, bad-drugs, alcohol, abuse, etc) and that makes their stripping career worse. The truth is if you want to be a happy, healthy, successful stripper, you gotta have your head screwed on straight and stay a head of the game and take care of yourself.

In my opinion, making stripping illegal won't solve any problems, unionizing (to protect workers and customers) will. Things will just end up going underground where the real problems start. 🙁
