Hi, I bought a hardly used privatly owned 45mm Titanium XPole xpert off ebay for $435 – not far from Ringwood. Pole Princess in Ringwood, Melbourne are going over to Brass and there is talk that they are going to be selling off their studio poles. They are quite tall XPole Xpert 45mm chrome and very well used. They might already have several students willing to buy them. If you were interested, I would be calling them and checking if they can be dismantled easily without the issue of sections getting stuck. They look like they may have been up for a while. Good luck! I am in the same boat. I’ve only just come out in the last few weeks that I have been pole dancing – when I bought the pole (a bit hard to explain) however the family knew i was going to "dance class" but didn’t exactly know what that was. Then the pole arrives….Hmmmm. I cannot dance when there are people in the room watching. I am terrible at it. Anyhow pressure eased a bit cause my son has taken to playing on the pole and showing off in front of us. Its become a boy thing. I usually steal time when everyone is out. I am considering moving the pole into the barn/stables to get some more time on the pole once I figure out the roof height.
Maybe if I get better I will pole in front of them? I’m so bad at it is embarrassing! Its fun though! Good luck – I will read other’s comments on this subject with interest. xx https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif

Hi, I’m 45 and am a beginner. Yes, I feel the same about the age thing and then I think…"well I don’t care". If I want to do it then I will. I must be having a mid life crisis too (and loving it). I watch cougar town on tv and laugh. I have a slightly younger partner (and he’s hot). I have a red horse carriage and a team of horses (which I had to learn at 41) and I drive them down the main street and wave at people and . So what? Its fun. I am seriously new and bad at pole dancing but I like it. I will get better – look at all you girls and your progress! At my age, I guess I am seasoned at having fun and gaining empowerment. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif I say "GO FOR IT". PS My grandma danced on stage in amateur theatre until she was nearly eighty! She loved it.

Hello to legs anna and millien and fellow Australians, https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif thanks for welcoming me to the site. I’m looking forward to this journey and yes, would love to do a Pole Jam in Melbourne a bit further down the track – say from May onwards – that would be fun. Ms Wild
