Thanks Veena!! I have done the 30 day take off program before, it is definitely a good start. I have already been doing a lot of the same or similar strength building conditioning for a few months, so really at the point where I am ready to step up to the next level from there.

I didn’t start silks until I was well into pole, but when I started attending some silks classes I remember thinking I should have done silks first then pole since there you have a chance to really feel the body placement at each step and can pause mid-air to correct. I have found a few sites just by googling, but figured I’d tap into the collective group here to see if anyone had tried any of them. I will definitely be doing some of the 30 day programs soon!!!

Thanks Runemist34! I am pretty good about keeping my chin up, guess I just need to pull in my belly button more! I love that this challenge is not a bunch of crunches, I think that will help.

Does anyone have tips on how to correctly engage ab muscles? Every time I have focused on core muscles I end up with a really muscular neck about a month in. I assume I must be doing it wrong. I haven’t started this challenge yet, but I want to improve on engaging my core in the 30 day take off and in general to build the ab muscles needed!

Hi Nessy118! So far so good! I am on day 6 today and really excited to do this set after my son goes to sleep tonight! I had just finished P90X3 Lean program, took a few days off in between, and then started the 30 day take off. It has been interesting getting used to the flow of every other day being rejuvenation (vs one to two days a week) and not knowing how long each day’s activities will take. I look forward to the next 24 days of activities!
