    Thanks poleisnewtome!

    I will look into different ab exercises. I must be doing something wrong since I work on abs every other day. Maybe I’ve plateaued? ;\

    I posted the same thing a few days ago! On my left arm too! I was actually really scared because everyone said to rest and I tried..but at night the discomfort was very bad and I couldn't sleep.

    I ended up going to the doctor and they told me I had a nerve pinch! Thank god it wasn't nerve damage! But they prescribed me some anti-inflammatory drug and told me to lay off the pole for a bit 🙁

    Sometimes over working and turning your arm in weird ways can pinch a nerve or cause nerve damage when you over exert yourself.

    So the drugs are working but they also said don't take it every day and only when I need it. If you take it (Tylenol or Ibuprofen which are mild anti-inflammatory drugs and painkillers) it is possible that within three weeks you can give yourself a stroke.

    What I ended up doing two days ago was getting a massage concentrated on my arm and then..I know I know..I got acupuncture! My arm has never felt better. Acupuncture is supposed to help unblock the bad chi in your body and the needles go along your meridian lines. It helps balances the flow and energy in your body. It is Traditional Chinese Medicine..it can't be proven but I've done it several times and so has my family. It's good for nerves, tendons, and muscle aches, as well as stress and over all balancing out the energy in your body..your chi.

    I have a friend whose family owns a wellness center and they have acupuncture there. She fully vouches for it. So if all else fails…and you still feel bad..see a doctor or get a massage and acupuncture! I hope that helped.

    @kobajo84 I wanted to get the 5 in one because I thought it might be safer for cushioning falls. Which thickness did yi get? I looked into the lil minx one before a long time shop.

    @MichelleH

    I was going to order that blue one too but the review said that it was tearing on the inside from two weeks of use..please let me know how yours turns out! I would love to know whether I should invest the money in it or not. 🙂

    @jennasmom79

    That does look like a good idea! Is it a foam topper? If so, aren't those things over $100 for something that big? 🙁

    @spinnygirl

    I think it is worth it for me to buy a mat because I am prone to falling and hurting myself when I am NOT doing pole work. I'm talking about just walking or cleaning my apartment I'm clumsy..I can't imagine how many bruises and falls I'm going to have when I can do advanced poling…:3
