Hi there,
like everybody is saying listen to your body, you will know best when your body is ready to get back to business 🙂
When I had my first, I had a very easy natural birth and got back on the pole 3 weeks post partum, BUT I only started wih spins and pirouette to get back into it slowly. I was very careful with the abs and did some abdomina reeducation on the doctor’s advice to make the gap smaller in my belly. I felt I was progressing slowly and its only around 6 months post baby that I felt like before I got pregnant again. Having said that, I found that once I was back in shape, I progressed much faster and got stronger than ever. I never thought it was possible thinking a pregnancy would deffo make me weaker in general, but it was the opposite. Now my son is 18 months old and I have never been that toned 🙂 I think if you take the time your body needs, you’ll get better results and if you have abs separation, you can improve it or correct it with some reeducation. Hope this help 🙂 -
Hi there!
Im a student myself in a small pole studio in Dublin and I had been to 2 other studios before that I left for various reasons. From my experience it was really helpful to have practice times at my new studio which has helped me progress a lot . Unfortunately not all studios can offer practice time outside classes and I have to say that this was a big plus for me 🙂 Im very lucky that my pole instructor happens to be my pole buddy and the best thing about her is that she pushes me a lot, I believe this makes her a good instructor, beside of course all of her pole and sports knowledge and ability to teach and break down moves 🙂

Thanks so much minicoopergrl!
Its reassuring me a little. Ive started working on spinny pole a few weeks ago and getting slowly used to it https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif but Im only using an xpole, not x-stage…. There a few bits of me on spiny pole on my second vid I posted last week if you want to check it out, the comp is in 2 months so I think Ill be ready for it, but it still scares me, only because its a stage and I cant find amyn vids online with x-stage on spiny mode….
Oh by the way, I think your fab!!!! I wish I could express myself as much as I do when pole dancing!Nawel
