They are so wonderfully supportive and welcoming there. And some of my buddies from there also frequent Twirly Girls regularly, which is in Pleasanton.

I’ve cut myself severely on these screws before, and since I was doing inverts and going to the floor, it was on my arm. But it was because I tightened the pole waaaay too much before trying to tighten those screws, and the tension was, therefore, off, as the other commenters have mentioned. After I stopped overtightening the pole against the ceiling, the issue went away. The scars haven’t, though. Definitely make sure more of your students don’t get hurt :). Good luck!

Hi :). I had a powder-coated pole and I hated it. I always slide on chrome because I’m either too dry or too sweaty. I have to dry my hands after every grip. But the PC pole was so grippy, I couldn’t do spins! And I still slipped in my sweat :(. Stainless was my fave, but I’ve never tried brass. Good luck, and please do update on how the pole you chose works for you!

I didn’t realize so many Veeners were on it. I only knew about it because my teacher Tiffany Rose is there (shout-out for her!) Gonna vote for you guys too, now 🙂
