Cleo’s rocking legs n abs DVD is an awesome workout for legs. Other wise add weights to your squats and lunges etc. or go to the gym and do weight work for your legs. I do all of these .

I find writing down your goals helps move forward.

Yes I have the titanium silver 45mm , in Australia gold was not avaliable, it is my favorite , brass was terrible unless we had humidity, chrome is ok but can be slippery in hot dry weather and the cold, stainless steel I hate with a passion, the titanium is super grippy on on some days it can tear at your skin but I like that, I like to grip like Spider-Man. I wish they would make it in the 40mm.

I have purchased from Dirdy birdy, bad kitty, sweet vixen couture, target crop tops, lululemon, mika yoga, Heaven007, poledivas in Richmond Melbourne , sex shops, yes I have a lot of pole dance clothing lol. The postage from America and Canada is too expensive nowadays but a few years ago it was much cheaper to buy from over There. Rarr designs is good to although I have not personally purchased from them yet but I know if people who have . And yes Moira costumes in Adelaide South Australia. If you want something made .

I hardly know where to begin on all the changes I have seen my body go through, I’m in better shape now than I ever have been, I look better, feel better and walk tall. My core is strong which helps my back after suffering spinal injuries in MVA almost 30 years ago, my inner thighs , legs are tight and have good shape, the list is way too long I’m sure others will add their bit. No sport, gym or home excercise has given me results that pole has, including a good dose of self esteem and self confidence.

For me I love my titanium. I have both.. the titanium is much more grippy however it can tear at your skin. I don’t mind the chrome but it’s more temperamental. Just my experience but everyone’s different I just like very sticky grip. I had a brass but for me the only time I got good grip was on humid days which are few and far between here. For Some reason brass and me don’t mix. Best thing is to try them both if you know someone who has chrome and titanium .:/)

I started with split grip, not sure how long you have been poling but it took me about 18months before I started getting the core strength and balance to get it! Work with a mat , keep your knees on the pole in the beginning work on your balance try letting go of the pole with your knees go slow then slowly try opening your legs! It will come don’t give up. 🙂

I have been poling now for 3 years, I have only just started going to the gym to work harder on upper body, core and legs I decided to do this as I felt I was not gaining much strength lately to move on, it will also help me work both sides evenly, however I believe if you do weight work you need to also concentrate on flexibility as well. I struggle big time with flexibility I work consistently and see consistent small results, but I sure am much more flexible than what I was 3 years ago.

I definitely think pole fits the interval training category.

I Look at supplements in any form this way, If you believe they are working for you whether it be the supplements doing their job or mind over matter they are working therefore they have been worth the expense and the risk to take them. They cannot be doing us any worse harm than Pharmaceuticals, trans fats or diet drinks etc etc, I use protein powder at times, i use many health supplements and i truly believe i am better off for it, i rarely get sick i have good muscle growth and definition for a 51 year old.:) Therefore in answer to the original question go for it cant really be to much harm if any:)

I was fairly fit when I started, I had been doing cardio and free weights for a year or two, this did not help any when if come to starting pole I managed 3 times a week in thf beginning and I was very sore after each time so much that I wondered what the heck I was doing to myself but my love of it kept me going, after 3 years I still get sore if I have a heavy session, I still get massive bruises, but it is not as bad as the first 12 months, make sure you warm up and cool down with stretching it helps also a nice bath with Epsom salts. The burning gets better too.I am 51 years old now and I do get very tired after my sessions but I hear the young ones do too!:-) I take s good quality multivitamin drink plenty of water and eat well This to will help you.:)
