Clavrot, it is a well known and researched fact that our fruit and vegetables do not  contain all the vitamins and minerals we need nowdays, unless of course you grow your own organically. to think otherwise is ignorance.

Supplements that are organic and not filled with fillers and coatings are fine, unfortunately a lot on the market are not good quality, I spend around the price of a coffee and donut a day on supplements, they are one of the best brands on the market, I have been taking them for 4 years now, my blood test actually improved my doctor is constantly amazed at my results at age, and always asks me what Am i doing.Of course you need to be careful, do your research and talk to professionals, I will take supplements before I take any prescription medication.achieving optimum nutrition is what it’s about.Dr Ross Walker has written an excellent book (The cell factor) based on research into using supplements to optimize your health! There is just so much evidence out there for the benefits of supplements, but at the end of the day it’s the individuals own choice, I choose to pay money for this rather than coffee and cake based on what I have experienced for myself by taking them and based on the reading and research I have done and that’s good enough for me .:-)

Pole4fitness is a fantastic studio, run by Ash, depends what side of the city you are on, I can recommend both, Carlie Hunter owns The pole boutique.:-)

I disagree with some of these comments, I believe the DVD was never about sexy floor moves but was advertised as exactly what it is, I love it but each to their own I guess, on Cleo’s stretching FB page there are hundreds who have purchased the DVD and love it. 🙂 I love it.

It is very disappointing , I had to sell my brushed brass XPole 6months after I purchased it because I could get no grip , I sold it for $250 less than what I purchased it for, for me the best grip has been the titanium XPole i cannot use stsinless steel either , all of the poles needs to be warmed up along with your body sometimes that will take. Good 1/2 hour , body chemistry and skin affects grip as well. Have you tried a bit of mighty grip ?

After competing in amateur pole last year I was excited to speak to one of the judges expecting to get a critique of my performance, I wanted to hear what I needed to do better and what I did not execute correctly for me to place 7th , all I got was how fantastic she thought my performance was , I was disappointed because I wanted genuine critique and that is what we were told the judges would give us! I think we need honest good mannered critique to improve ..However I dislike the constant Point your goddamn feet comments I see frequently in many YouTube videos .:-)

For me i need to feel the song and get lost in it.but yes it is practice, i too feel like you and because i have next to no back bend I feel like i do not  look nice and slinky but i just keep doing the best i can. and dont compare, accepting your own style and movement is an important thing.;)

I’m 51 soon , started at age 48, entered amateur pole comp last year and came 7th , this past 7 months I have been riddled with minor niggles menopause joint pains are not helping , I have found I needed to cut back training a tad to give my body more time to recover, I also understand that there are quite a lot moves I will never do due to flexibity issues but that does not stop me from improving. Age is a state of mind what you get is what you think, if you think your old then you are!if you think your young , fit and sexy then you are , I will not let my age and limitations stop me from trying anything new, you only live once.:-)

Yep the brushed brass x pert pole was a bitch for me, I was very disappointed, as after 8 months i sold it at a loss of $250, nothing worked with it for me unless we had humid weather, which is not very often for our climate! I am not sure about the polished brass, but I have been out off the XPole brass now! My next pole will be a 38.1 mm polished brass pussycat pole same as my studio uses they have awesome grip, which I love.
