I get a weave put on the back of my head and it adds length without the pull of clip ins and it lasts longer. It also makes my hair grow faster and thicker in that area.

  • I've never seen x-pole make any sort of digs toward other companies and I've never heard of them paying someone to endorse their pole over other poles. Their poles speak for themselves.

  • Yes, they definiately were very cautious and didn't make any huge movements because I'm sure they didn't want the floorboards to pop up and make noise or for it to tip like it did in the Veena Video. Plus I hate how you can just pull the pole straight out of the ssa. What happens if during a routine, you slide your hand up the pole and the pole happens to pop out of the stage?

I almost bought a fake x-pole off of ebay. The seller was claiming that it was an authentic x-pole x-pert but the price was too good to be true. I wait until others had bought it and left reviews and sure enough, it was a fake! the seller has since been shut down.

  • Agreed. They conveniently forgot to mention that.

  • I agree!! They should send us all one and let us decide 😀

Everyone progress at their own rate. That's why I love pole dancing. You aren't expected to be at a certain level after a certain amount of time. I used to compare myself to other people but it would only get me down and now I understand that Its going to take me longer to do things because I am on the heavier side. But it isn't going to stop me from progressing or loving pole dancing. You just do you 🙂

@ Joyful, there should be some non-oily lotions out there. You might be able to get away with using face moisturizer on your hands because its designed not to be oily so it won't clog your pores.

I feel like it shouldn't diminish the effect if you put moisturizer on because moisturizer just softens skin and doesn't induce sweating. I would do any and all moisturizer stuff before applying the drysol. Another way to boost the effect of the drysol might be to rub alcohol on your hands. I had to do that when I stupidly went and got a mani pedi before pole and it helped quite a bit.

I have a sweating problem too and I went to see my dematologist and she gave me two things. One is an oral pill called glycopyrrolate which stops sweating from the inside. The second is a clear gel that works like an antiperspirant to stop the sweating from the outside. I would see a dermatologist and see if they can help you because this is definitely more affordable than botox.

you go girl!! you tell it to that uneductated ignorant man like it is. if he doesn't respond, that just shows how right you are. I hate how so many people still lump pole dancers in with strippers. I personally have nothing against strippers but I still find it insulting when people call me a stripper because I am not. most strippers dont even pole dance, they just walk around the pole and grind on it. If he wants to write an article hating on strippers he can do that. but when he starts bashing pole dancers by claiming we are talentless and a business he has never set foot inside, then he needs a good kick in the butt.

I am definitely interested! Do you know how much exactly? and what condition would you say the pole was in?

I get that a lot too. my friend jokingly calls me a stripper sometimes. at first my parents were totally against it but I think they are slowly coming around. What is important to them is that it makes me happy and I'm not actually stripping or performing in front of groups of drunk vulgar men. The problem is there is still the stripper stigma attached to it although it is so different. what I usually do is pick a badass pole superstar's video to show to them. I try to pick videos that aren't too sexy and that usually turns them around.

Thanks for the heads up! I use playtex gentle glides and was considering trying kotex but now that that's come out I think I will stick with my current brand.
